Go on an early morning safari into the forests of Ranthambore which is famous for Indian Tiger, leopard, sloth bear, sambhar, chital, blackbuck etc. Your next wildlife viewing experience awaits you at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Guided by a naturalist, penetrate into the expanse of the sanctuary to view hundreds of colourful bird species. Also, keep your cameras poised because you’ll have plenty of beautiful moments to capture. Next, step on to the soil of Agra where the world-famed Taj Mahal stands in all its glory. Soak up the unparalleled beauty of the Taj Mahal and collect some interesting tidbits of Mughal history. After visiting the quaint town of Orchha and exploring the groups of erotic sculptures at the temples of Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, travel to Bandhavgarh. Enjoy an adventure-packed jungle safari in the Bandhavgarh National Park - one in morning and the other in afternoon. Later head for Varanasi, a Hindu pilgrimage city located on the banks of holy Ganges. From there, catch your flight to Kathmandu in Nepal. Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

    Upon arrival at New Delhi Airport you will be met with a Max Holidays Company representative and he will escort you to the Hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel

  • Day 02 : In Delhi

    Today after a bit relaxed morning, we will proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Starting a tour with an Old Delhi where we will visit the Red Fort,built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan , Jama Masjid - one of the largest mosques in India, Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi. The most interesting part of our sightseeing will lie in driving through the Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. (Red Fort closed every Monday). While in Old Delhi, we will enjoy a fun and frolic rickshaw ride, which will take us through the narrow alleys of the old city markets. After lunch, proceed to enjoy the modern New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (war memorial arch), Lakshminarayan Temple-a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place-shopping centre of New Delhi. Overnight at the hotel

  • Day 03 : Delhi – Jaipur

    Followed by breakfast, leave by surface for Jaipur, along one of the India’s finest freeways. On arrival, check into the hotel. After some rest in the hotel visit City Palace or Chand Mahal where the former Maharaja of Jaipur still reside in one complex and rest is converted into the museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, one of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh in the early 18th century is a marvel of civil architecture of the Rajputs. Overnight at the hotel.

    Optional : while in the area of Hawa Mahal, you can explore the old local markets and taste the ethnic Rajasthani food. You can also visit to Chokhi Dhani – an artificial Rajasthani village, creates a Rajasthani village atmosphere, here you can enjoy the camel rides, elephant rides, juggler, snake charmer and magicians. Later Rajasthani food can be tasted served in a Rajasthani style.

  • Day 04 : Jaipur

    Morning visit to the elite Amber Fort located around 11 Kms from the city from where you can take an Arial view of the city- Jaipur. Ascend the fort on elephant’s back which gives you a feel of Maharaja and you can see the skyline of Jaipur city. It has some of the interesting buildings like Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwane-Am (Hall of Public Audience), and Diwan-e- Khas (Hall of Private Audience). You can take an aerial view of the city from Amer Fort. Later drive to Jaigarh fort which acted as storage for artillery and one of the biggest Canons of the world is kept here.

    Optional : One can enjoy and learn the cooking with an Indian family , where the house lady will teach you the Indian food, and later, enjoy the same with family.

  • Day 05 : Jaipur – Ranthambhore

    After breakfast, drive towards Sawai Madhopur famous for the Ranthambore National Park. The Ranthambore National Park is Rajasthan’s first project tiger reserve and named after a 1000 year old fort which stands in the park. Ranthambhore has large numbers of Sambar, chital and nilgai. Sounders of boar and an occasional gazelle - The chinkara can be seen, as also the Indian hare, mongoose and monitor lizards. The lakes and pools at the Parkare where the deer congregate and where it is easiest to see the animals. Among the other local fauna are the leopard, hyena, jackal, jungle cats, sloth bear and marsh crocodile

  • Day 06 : Ranthambhore

    Morning and afternoon game run.

    Today early morning go for jungle safari where you can have an encounter with king of jungle, Tiger. Majority of the species which you can spot are of the herbivorous deer and antelope species. Apart from tigers one can also see leopard, monkey langurs, jackals, jungle cat, wild boar, sloth beer, Nilgai, Sambhar, and Chital, Blackbuck and many more. It was once the hunting ground for the royal families. In the afternoon return to hotel for lunch, after some rest again go for jungle safari. Overnight stay at Jungle resort.

  • Day 07 : Ranthambhore – Bharatpur

    After breakfast, leave for Bharatpur renowned for its world heritage listed Bird Sanctuary, the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. This is one bird sanctuary where migratory birds found. Migratory Birds come from the different part of the globe and stay in this Bird Sanctuary. After arrival and the check in formalities, get your cameras ready, as you will find much to photograph inside the sanctuary. Overnight stay in the hotel

    Optional : You can also visit the sanctuary at next day early morning.

  • Day 08 : Bharatpur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

    Followed by breakfast, leave surface for Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Morning half day excursion to Fatehpur Sikri built by emperor Akbar in abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other palaces. Afterward continue the drive to Agra. On arrival check in to the hotel.

    Afternoon enjoy the fascinating half day tour of Agra. Start your visit from Taj Mahal, an architectural masterpiece made up of incredible white marble. The mausoleum dedicated to eternal love by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the halls of private and public audience and other palaces. Overnight at the hotel.

    Optional : You can also enjoy the Mohabbat e Taj show at Kalakriti in the evening free time. You will see here a Mughal era, displaying a story of love between Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.

  • Day 09 : Agra – Jhansi (By Train) Jhansi – Orchha – Khajuraho

    Early morning transfer to railway station to board the Superfast Bhopal Shatabdi Express which departs at 08:11 hrs from Agra and arrives Jhansi Railway Station at 10:45 hrs. Deboard the train at Jhansi railway station, where our representative will be waiting for you. After meet and assist, we drive to the village of Orchha - which has its importance due to the beautiful Fort and Temples. Visit to Orchha Fort and Temples named Ramji Mandir, Raj Mandir and Jahangir Mahal which are example of architectural conception of unusual vigor and intricate sophistication. Following the tour of Orchha, drive to Khajuraho and check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 10 : Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh

    After breakfast we are moving forward for sightseeing of Khajuraho - The Chandela temples at Khajuraho are among the most creative examples of Indian architecture and is celebrating its Millennium. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of the erotic sculptures. The sculptures of Khajuraho depict the every day life of the people and the court in 10th and 11th centuries. Khajuraho is not something that can be described in words; it has to be experienced. Half day guided tour to the Eastern Part of the temples.Afternoon visit the western part of Temple. Later drive to the Bandhavgarh. Check – in to the Hotel and overnight stay.

  • Day 11 : In Bandhavgarh

    Morning and afternoon jungle safari at Bandhavgarh National Park. It is steep cliffs, rocky hills of dense Sal and Bamboo forests makes it an ideal land for tigers. Other animals found here are the Blue Bull, Panther, Wild Boar, Gaur, Chital Sambar, Chinkara, Barking Deer, Bear etc. the avian life consist of the paradise fly- catcher, malabar pied hornbill and the orange headed ground thrush etc. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 12 : Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho – Varanasi (by flight)

    After breakfast in the hotel drive back to Khajuraho airport to board the flight to Varanasi. Varanasi is considered a sacred place by the Hindus world over. The Holy Ganges, on the bank of which this ancient town is located is also worshiped by the people. It is said that a bath in the holy water of Ganges purifies the body and soul of humans. Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Varanasi and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 13 : Varanasi

    Early morning boat excursion on the holy River Ganges to see the bathing Ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the Ghats is one of the most extra ordinary experiences of a visit to India. You can see the dead body floating on the river after cremation.

    After boat ride, come back to hotel for breakfast and proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in Marble,, Banaras Hindu University which has an art gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Afternoon half day tour of Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century B.C. to 12th century A.D. visit the Ruins, the Stupa, the Buddhist Temple and the Museum.

    Evening witness the Aarti at Gange of Dashashwamedh ghat, Large flaming lamps and enchanting the mantras are dedicated to River Ganga. During this time, whole area lit up with a beautiful golden glow from the lamps and with the aroma of sandal. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 14 : Varanasi – Kathmandu (By flight)

    Followed by breakfast on time transfer to airport to connect flight to Kathmandu. Meetings and assistance on arrival and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day is to explore the local vicinity at your own. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 15 : In Kathmandu

    After breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple Nepal. Kathmandu visiting Pashupatinath temple which is dedicated to lord Shiva and has richly ornamented pagoda with two tiered golden roof and silver doors. Swayambhunath temple has been listed as world’s heritage site. Also visit Bouddhanath, Patan. The 5 dhyani Buddhas attended by their Consorts are enshrined at the base of the stupa. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 16 : Kathmandu – Chitwan

    Followed by breakfast, leave for Chitwan. Your trip to Nepal is incomplete without visiting Chitwan National Park. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 17 : Chitwan

    Enjoy full day in Jungle activities in the National Park. Elephant back safari, an excellent opportunity to see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, even tiger and more wild animals. After the elephant ride you will be visiting to the National Park visitor’s centre to know more about the history and wildlife of Chitwan National Park. You will have a magnificent sunset view from the bank of River Rapti. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 18 : Chitwan – Kathmandu – Delhi (by flight)

    After breakfast drive to Kathmandu airport to fly back to Delhi. Met and assist upon arrival in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Day is at leisure for last minute shopping and packing. Overnight stay in the Hotel in Delhi. Remark: One can visit to the Kingdom of Dreams, representing a present Indian culture in an entertaining format to all visitors.
