  • Siliguri is a popular hill town in the northern zone West Bengal, India. Located on the bank of river Mahananda, Siliguri is tugged between the foothills of the Himalayas on one side & the Dooars of West Bengal on the other. It is 35 km from Jalpaiguri, its twin town, and both merge to form the largest metropolis in the Darjeeling region. Also the gateway to north east India, Siliguri is a preferred base for tourists to stay here and tour nearby attractions like Darjeeling, Mirik, Kalimpong, and even neighboring Gangtok. However, Siliguri in itself is a self-sufficient holiday destination.
