We will pick you up in Delhi, and then our Taj special moonlight tickets tour will begin.  We will then travel towards Agra, where the spectacular Taj Mahal is situated. In Agra, you'll spend the night at a four-star accommodation. Day 2 will begin with a scenic tour before we drive you back to New Delhi. The Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the most stunning structures in the entire globe. This white marble monument, which the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built in honour of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, represents everlasting love. 

When can you see the Taj Mahal in the moonlight?

On five specific evenings each month, when the moon is out or close to it, a maximum of 400 tourists are allowed to visit the Taj Mahal. These evenings include the full moon, two days before the full moon, and two days afterwards. 

We will provide you with a list of full moon nights for the upcoming year so that you can plan your trip accordingly. You can prepare your journey to ensure that you get this highly anticipated sight.

Security measures to be followed 

At a maximum distance of 500 meters, visitors can see the Taj Mahal on an adjacent red sandstone structure. Still, cameras for photography and Binoculars for watching are both allowed for tourists.

Numerous cultural occasions are being organized to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the Taj Mahal. Join the festivities and a romantic meeting under the stars at the Taj Mahal in Agra, India, the symbol of unending love.

Itinerary

  • Day-1 10:00 AM: Journey begins from Delhi to Agra

    Your Taj Mahal special tour begins here. You will travel through the beautiful Indian countryside on a spectacular journey to Agra. Then drive to Agra, where the magnificent Taj is located. When you get there, you will see the majestic Taj Mahal, the most significant building in the world. You can see the night view of the Taj Mahal on five days in a month i.e. on a full moon night, two nights before and two nights after the full moon. You will not be able to see it on Friday and during Ramzan month.

    The best part of the tour is to view the Taj Mahal under the moonlight which is a mesmerizing experience that adds a layer of magic to this iconic monument. During the monthly occurrence of the full moon, the Taj is open for night viewing, offering a serene and ethereal ambience. Bathed in soft moonlight, the pristine white marble of the Taj Mahal seems to glow, creating an atmosphere of romance and tranquillity.  It's a moment of pure enchantment, making a visit to the Taj Mahal under the moonlight an unforgettable memory. After taking a tour of the Taj Mahal, we will bring you to one of the guest restaurants for an opulent lunch. 

    Your tour of Agra Fort and It-made-Daula's Tomb will begin on the late afternoon. The mythical Yamuna River runs close to Agra Fort. The stone sculptures at Agra Fort are well-known. You can explore it to find mansions, halls, and beautiful gardens. It is an admirable accomplishment of the Mughals. Some of the best marble carving work can be seen on the tomb. The next step is a tour of the marble factory to see how precious and semi-precious stones are inlaid into marble. The first day of the tour ends here, and you'll be taken to a 4-star hotel for an overnight stay. 

  • Day- 2 10:00 AM: Agra to Fatehpur Sikri, then back to Delhi

    After breakfast, we'll start our journey to Fatehpur Sikri—the ghost city is the next thing to discover on our Taj special moonlight tickets tour. Situated 40 km from Agra, this city is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar and later shifted to Lahore due to a lack of water. The magnificent structures built by the Mughals at Fatehpur Sikri depict a bygone period. Here we can also take in its beauty in a comparatively quiet and serene setting, and you can also take a tour of religious and historic sites. Once you've finished exploring Fatehpur Sikri, we'll head back to Delhi.

We, a group of 24 colleagues from a renowned MNC travelled to Agra from Gurugram on a short trip, to visit Taj Mahal. The bus was in excellent condition and the Company representative Mr. Shekhar was a great help to us. The visits were well organised, food and refreshment provided was upto the mark and the highlight of the trip was of-course the ‘Taj Mahal’
