Itinerary

  • 08:00 AM Meeting at your place

    In your overnight tour package from Delhi to Agra today the driver will report at your hotel at around 08 AM and will ensure a comfortable drive to Agra. You may take a short break in the midway to freshen up or have some local tea in a highway restaurant. Continue drive to Agra.

  • 12:00 Noon Visit Fatehpur Sikri

    In order to understand the history and story of the Mughal empire in India, starting the sightseeing trip from Fatehpur Sikri is a right choice. This forbidden walled city served as the Capital of Mughals in early years before they decided to leave this place due to shortage of water. Later the Mughals moved to the town of Agra near river Yamuna and made it their capital. There are many important and exciting places to visit in the complex and each site has a different story to tell. Enjoy the architecture of the huge walled city.

  • 03:00 PM Reach Agra

    It takes about an hour to reach Agra from Fatehpur. At around 03 PM you will reach Agra and check into your pre-booked hotel. Have some leisurely stay before we start the sightseeing tour of Agra.

  • 04:00 PM Visit Agra Fort

    The guide will report in the lobby of your hotel at the fixed time. Meet the guide and he/she will escort you to the city in your car for sightseeing trip. The monument you will visit is the massive Red Fort of Agra. Situated on the bank of river Yumuna this for overlook Taj Mahal. Here at this fort Mughal emperor Aurangzeb kept his father Shahjahan (the maker of Taj Mahal) under house arrest, after declaring him incompetent to rule. From here Shahjahan used to see Taj Mahal and remember his beloved wife Mumtaj.

  • 06:00 PM Back to hotel in Agra

    Drive back to your hotel in Agra and have leisurely time. Night stay will be in the hotel.

  • 06:00 AM Visit Taj Mahal

    Early morning during sunrise, pay a visit to the gorgeous Taj Mahal. Take a battery van or enjoy a ride in a decorative horse cart to reach the monument from parking area of Taj Mahal. The guide will accompany you for the sightseeing of Agra and he will ensure that you get a detailed introduction of the place. Spend time at Taj Majhal exploring its beauty and capturing it in your camera.

  • 08:30 AM Breakfast at the hotel

    Come back to hotel for breakfast. Later before leaving again for the sightseeing trip you may check out from the hotel and keep your stuff in the car.

  • 12.00 Noon Visit Itmad Ud Daulah

    The story then moves further as the guide takes you to another stunning monument of Itmad Ud Daulah. Also known to tourists as ‘Baby Taj’ or ‘Mini Taj’, the tomb of Itmad Ud Daulah was constructed in 1662 for Mirza Giyath Beg by his daughter Nur Jehan, 7 years after his death.

  • 02:00 PM Visit local markets

    You may spend some time in exploring the local shops and markets in Agra city or decide to drive back to Delhi which is about four hours drive away.

We, a group of 24 colleagues from a renowned MNC travelled to Agra from Gurugram on a short trip, to visit Taj Mahal. The bus was in excellent condition and the Company representative Mr. Shekhar was a great help to us. The visits were well organised, food and refreshment provided was upto the mark and the highlight of the trip was of-course the ‘Taj Mahal’
