After breakfast at hotel depart to airport to catch your flight to Srinagar. Called as a heaven on Earth, Srinagar it is located on the banks of Jhelum River. Explore the Mughal gardens, Dal Lake, Shikara ride which are the main attractions of the Srinagar and not to be missed once you are here. Start the sightseeing with the most important tourist attraction –Dal Lake. Here you will be having ride on extravagantly decorated Shikaras. The next spot for you will be Nishat Garden (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan Brother-in-law of Jahagir in 1632A.D. Shalimar Garden (Abode of Love) built by Jahagir for his wife Empress Noor Jahan. The distance from Srinagar to said garden is about 12 & 15 kms respectively. Later visit Shankaracharya Temple- the ancient temple of Lord Shiva, which is worth visiting as apart from the religious significance, the temple is a great archaeological specimen. Early morning depart to Gulmarg - which literally mean a meadow of flowers. You will be having a pleasant drive as the whole route is lined by tall deodars and undulating flower meadows.
