Before the modern period took hold, the city was an actual depiction of Nepali heritage and culture. Here, skilled regional artisans can be seen creating lovely ceramics. We'll travel to Patan City later. One of the three major towns in the Kathmandu Valley is Patan, also known as Lalitpur, which means "city of beauty."
