Today’s sightseeing will include a visit to few great sites of Old as well as New part of Delhi. Start the trip with a visit to the heritage market of Chandni Chowk, take a rickshaw ride to visit Jama Masjid. Drive through India Gate and stop at president’s Palace to click some pictures. Further proceed to visit Qutub Minar which was built by Mughal emperor Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibek and also Humayun’s Tomb.
Morning fly to Varanasi. Charmingly located on the banks of sacred tributary Ganga, it is considered as the holiest breathing city of the world. In the evening enjoy the boat ride on holy River Ganges and be the part of eye catching grand 'Aarti Ceremony' on the ghat.
Early morning again enjoy the boat ride on River Ganges to observe the early morning dealings which takes place on the depository of the holy River Ganges. After breakfast take a flight to Khajuraho. In the morning visit impressive white marble structure of Taj Mahal remarked as representation of eternal love of an emperor. Further visit the massive Agra Fort precisely explained as a splendid walled city built with red sandstone. Later drive to the tiny village of Karauli.
Wake up in the peaceful atmosphere of Karauli village. After breakfast visit Madan Mohanji temple and City Palace. Later drive to Ranthambore which was once the game reserve for the Maharaja’s of Jaipur.
Morning jungle safari by jungle jeep / canter. Shoot the glorious mammals in your camera like Leopards, Indian Gazelle, Neelgai (Blue Bull), Chital, Sambar, Mongoose, which you can sight often in the woods. Afternoon drive to Jaipur - generally known as 'Pink City' due to the large use of pink color applied to the buildings.
Meet your guide at the hotel and then take an excursion to Amber Fort, enjoy decorated elephant ride to reach the fort on the top of the hill. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of pink city visiting City Palace lodging the Chandra Mahal, and the City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal a wonderful five-story structure is great master works. Also enjoy folk dance performances in a local restaurant.
Morning leave for Udaipur. The City of Dreams or Venice of the East - is perhaps the most stunning of all Indian cities. A quixotic group of exotic gardens filled with budding trees and fancy island palaces shining in mirror - calm lakes, that's Udaipur. In the evening enjoy the motor boat cruise on the Lake Pichola.
Proceed for city sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace, here you will wonder at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colorful glass casements, inlaid marble galleries and the peacock courtyard. Also visit the beautiful garden called "Sahelion-ki-Bari", Jagdish Temple and the local Folk Museum.
Fly to Aurangabad. The place is a good choice for weekend excursion and a perfect base to explore the Ajanta and Ellora Caves. This World Heritage Site attracts many from far & wide. Apart from those relics, Aurangabad in present day is famous for its hand woven Paithani Silk and Himroo saris.
Leave for sightseeing of Ajanta caves which are the best examples of rock cut architecture, sculpture and paintings. There are thirty caves at Ajanta, some of them are single storied, and some are double storied while there are others which are over three storeys. Later visit Ellora caves which are about thirty four in number. Curiously enough some are Buddhist caves, some Brahmanical while the others are Jain caves.
After breakfast fly to Mumbai. Being the financial epicenter of India, it attracts thousands of people every year. The Hindi film industry popularly known as Bollywood is also based in Mumbai. The city derives its name from the local goddess 'Mumbadevi'. This giant city is a just a position of the old and the new, colonial and modernist, be its culture, architecture or daily humdrum.
Visit the Gateway of India. From Gateway of India we take a regular ferry to travel to rock cut caves of Elephanta Island - dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the second half of the day visit the famous tourist sites of Mumbai including Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive and Dhobhi Ghat (the famous open air laundry of Mumbai).
