Unrivalled Opportunities for Spiritual Healing

Deep-rooted in ancient Hindu cultures and traditions, India offers a host of opportunities for everyone who's interested in a yoga and meditation tour. Both yoga and meditation took birth in India 1000s of years ago. Today, these practices have spread all across the world. Whether you want to rejuvenate yourself with yoga or revive your innerself with meditation, India is home to many internationally-known centres. Yoga is based on a number of specific physical postures (asanas) which aim to improve the muscular system of the body and boost health. Hatha yoga, raja yoga and bhakti yoga are some of the most popular yoga forms.

Meditation, in its truest sense, leads to enlightenment. Both in Hinduism and Buddhism, meditation has its unique importance. As per the Vedanta, the main goal of meditation is to understand the true self. Usually, meditation is practised after completing a session of yoga. During a yoga and meditation tour in India, you'll get an excellent opportunity to meet with some of most well-known professionals and gurus who will help you heal the mind, body and soul. As per the Hindu tradition, yoga and meditation ultimately allows people to achieve freedom from the cycles of birth and rebirth – Moksha.

Yoga and meditation are not religions. In fact, they are proven ways to improve one's well being – physically and mentally. Through different types of breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana) on this tour, you can gain better control over your mind and body and lead a happier and healthier life.
