Itinerary

• Day-1 Reaching Lhasa

  Your guide will meet you when you arrive in Lhasa, whether by plane or rail, and you will be transported to your accommodation. On their trip to Lhasa, travelers can see the Yarlung Tsangpo River, the Brahmaputra River (the longest and greatest river in Tibet), and the Lhasa River. Reaching Lhasa, you can relax and adjust to the high altitude. If you feel like going outside, head to Potala Square, where you can admire the colorful fountain and take stunning pictures of the surrounding area and the Potala.

• Day-2 Lhasa Sightseeing tour

  The first stop on your Lhasa to Kathmandu Overland Small Group Tour today will be the Potala Palace, the Dalai Lama's winter residence. Since the 7th century, the 33rd great ruler of Tibet has used it. The golden burial stupas of prior Dalai Lamas and the meditation cave of the 33rd great monarch of Tibet are among Potala Palace's most priceless artifacts.

  After lunch, visitors head to the Jokhang temple, Tibet's 33rd great emperor constructed in the seventh century. The statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at twelve years old is within. You could see worshippers bowing and doing prostrations in front of the Jokhang Temple. • Day-3 Dadong Village and Sera Monastery Tour in Lhasa

  In the morning, you will head towards the Dadong settlement, Lhasa's most picturesque. Dadong Village is an old Tibetan village that is well-protected and encircled by valleys. It is situated 25 kilometers southwest of the center of Lhasa. Following your arrival, you will explore the 11th-century Nyimatang Monastery, stroll around the hamlet, and get a taste of rural Lhasa. You'll also visit a nearby Tibetan household and eat lunch there. The 'big three' Gelug monasteries of Tibet, Sera Monastery, is one that you will visit in the afternoon. The Monks Debate, which takes place from 3-5 in the afternoon, is the main event. You will also tour the printing facility for Tibetan sacred texts. • Day-4 Lhasa (About 3650m) to Shigatse(About 3900m) by Gyantse

  Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse in the morning to continue with our Lhasa Overland Group Tour. Yamdrok-Tso (4400m) can be seen on the route if you travel through the Gampala pass (4790 m). The Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar, the tallest peak close to Lhasa at 7191 meters, can be seen in the distance and is encircled by several snow-capped mountains. Then, we will reach Gyantse, traditionally Tibet's third-largest city (after Lhasa and Shigatse), where we will enjoy watching the Korola Glacier along the highway, hoist a prayer flag at Manak Dam Lake, and explore the Simila Mountain Pass. We'll go to Gyantse to see the well-known Pelkor Monastery, the Gyantse Kumbum, and take in the far-reaching views of the Gyangtse Fortress.

  Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet, is where we arrive after an hour and a half of travel. Shigatse offers the opportunity to see the Barley Field and historic Barley Mill (during the summer). In Shigatse, spend the night.

• Day-5 Shigatse(About 3900m) to Everest Base Camp (About 5200m) by Tingri

  On the fifth day of the Lhasa to Kathmandu Overland Small Group tour, we will then travel to Panchan Lama's residence, Tashilunpo Monastery, in the morning. After receiving your alien travel authorization, we will depart from Shigatse and head to Lhatse, a little village where you may have lunch. Following that, we will cross the Gyatsola Pass (5248) and Tsola Pass (4600M). Tourists may take in the Himalayan view at Gawula Pass, just after we reach the Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve (5189m). Then, we travel the New Zigzag Road (5200 meters) to Everest Base Camp. You can get closer to Mount Everest summit to view it. if the time and the weather allow, the Golden Everest Peak will be set above the lodge area. Spend the night in the guesthouse of the Rongbuk monastery.

• Day-6 Everest Base Camp to Kyirong(Gyirong) Border (Approx 370km)

  In the morning, if the weather permits, you can admire the sunrise of Everest at the accommodation area and then explore the Rongbuk Monastery - the exceptional highest monastery where nuns and monks coexist. Later, we can venture to the Everest Base Camp and capture photographs of Mt. Everest at the nearest distance possible in EBC. Afterward, we can travel by car from EBC to the Kyirong border. Along the way, tourists can revel in the awe-inspiring view of Mt. Shishapangma and Pekutso Lake. After crossing the Ghungtang Lhamo(5236M), we will reach Kyirong in the late afternoon.

  Hotels : Spend the night in the guesthouse in Kyirong.

• Day-7 Gyirong border to Kathmandu

  Our Tibetan leader will help you to leave China through the Gyirong border. The tour assistant concludes.
