On their private Lhasa tour, travellers may see the Yarlung Tsangpo River, the Brahmaputra River (the longest and most significant river in Tibet), and the Lhasa River. Tip: For visitors visiting Tibet, adjusting to the high altitude there is essential. Having a good night's sleep in your hotel is a good idea. Take your time visiting the nearby attraction of Lhasa. Stay for the night in Lhasa.
The Potala Palace, the Dalai Lama's winter residence, will be your first stop on the Everest Base Camp Small Group Tour today. The 33rd Tibetan great ruler has used it ever since the 7th century. The gold-plated burial stupas of prior Dalai Lamas and the 33rd Great King of Tibet's meditation cave are among Potala Palace's most priceless artefacts. The Jokhang temple, constructed in the seventh century by Tibet's 33rd great monarch, is the next tourist stop after lunch. The statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at twelve years old is within. You could see pilgrims bowing and prostrating in front of the Jokhang Temple. You may do kora (a religious circuit around a mountain or building) with residents and pilgrims on Barkhor Street, which is close to the temple. You can also visit the ancient market there.
We may also try Tibetan tea in a tea house with locals. Additionally, a welcome meal will be planned according to our preferences. You can visit a center for Tibetan traditional medicine or handicrafts with your tour guide. The Tibetan Culture Show is available as an addition to your service for 60 USD per person. Remain in Lhasa for the night.
On the third day of the 8 Days of Lhasa to Everest Base Camp tour, you're heading to Dadong settlement, Lhasa's most picturesque settlement. Dadong Village is an old Tibetan village secured and encircled by valleys. It is situated 25 kilometres southwest of the centre of Lhasa. Following your arrival, you will explore the 11th-century Nyimatang Monastery, stroll around the hamlet, and get a taste of rural Lhasa. You'll also visit a nearby Tibetan household and eat lunch there.
In the late afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery, one of Tibet's "great three" Gelug monasteries. At roughly 3 to 5 in the afternoon, the Monks Debate is a popular event. You may also see the printing facility for the holy texts of Tibet. The vibrant Buddha Rock Painting and three sand Mandalas are found within the monastery.
