Arrive early morning at Delhi international airport and transfer to the hotel for relaxed stay. Delhi offers a contrast of age old cultural heritage and most modern lifestyle of people. After a relaxed morning start guided city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, President’s Palace, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and if time permits also include Lotus Temple in your list of sites for today.

in the morning head to Agra the city of Taj Mahal. Choose the traditional highway to see some beautiful countryside and life of people living in small villages and town along the highway. On reaching Agra check into the hotel.
Later visit the massive fort of Agra (built in 1566 by Mughal Emperor Akbar) and Itmad-Ud- Daulah both situated on the other side of river Yamuna. Itmad Ud Daulah is often considered to be the draft of Taj Mahal due to its structure similar to Taj Mahal. Drive to Shilpgram (parking area of Taj Mahal) from where you can ride on a ‘Tonga’ (Horse cart) to reach the gate of the monument. As you enter the monument you will see the huge white marble structure on your right side which will stun you for a while with its beauty and architecture. Visit the monument and spend some time on your own to capture the beauty of the place in your mind and camera.

After leisurely breakfast spend some time doing shopping in Agra. Marble items, carpets, textile can be shopped from here. Later drive to Fatehpur Sikri which is situated 30 kms out of Agra city on highway. Build by Mughal emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son Salim (late Jahangir). Fatehpur Sikri served as the capital of Mughals for about 15 years after which they shifted their capital to Agra due to lack of water near Fatehpur Sikri.
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary OR Keoladeo Ghana National Park is also situated just 30 kms after Fatehpur Sikri. Bharatpur is a paradise for bird lovers. If interest you may visit the park and enjoy lunch in a hotel restaurant at Bharatpur.
Later drive to Jaipur for leisurely evening and night stay.
Start the day with a princely ride on a decorated elephant from the foothill of Aravali to visit the fort of Amer which is situated on the top of the hill. As you travel on elephant through the steep hill you experience the royal lifestyle of the erstwhile kings of Amer Palace. Amer Fort was once the capital of Rajput kings. Explore the beautiful halls, gates, courtyards and gardens in the palace.
Later visit the palace of Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar Observatory and City Palace museum. Spend time in the colourful bazaars in ‘Pink city’ before you are taken for a restaurant to watch live Rajasthani folk dances. Followed by the performance enjoy your delicious Indian cuisine in the restaurant,
After breakfast drive to Delhi airport to board your flight to Colombo (Sri Lanka). Pick up at Colombo airport is arranged and you will be shifted to the hotel upon arrival. Leisurely night stay in the hotel.
Drive to beautiful Nuwara Eliya, It is a mountain station, in a splendid landscape. Located at an elevation of 1980 meters Nuwara Eliya is the heart of tea country in the tropical island. This is the highest town in Sri Lanka. Tea plantation walk, golfing, boating, horse riding, hiking and nature trails are the main tourist activities at Nuwara Eliya. Leisurely stay will be at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
This morning leave early for the Horton Plains and have a picnic breakfast before entering the National Park for a guided walk. Please note this is a trekking experience with the fully covered dress on suiting the atmosphere. Overnight stay in the hotel at Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast in the hotel make your way to Yala, the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. On reaching check into your jungle resort and enjoy a jeep safari into Yala National Park. Yala National Park is famed for its elephants, spotted deer, jackal and sloth bear. Overnight stay in the hotel within the Yala National Park.
After breakfast in the hotel enjoy a nature walk on Debarawea tank bund to spot plethora of birds and see the Buddhist Dagabas. Enjoy your lunch at the Priyankara hotel and then continue to Bundala National Park to spot wild elephants, spotted deer, crocodiles and a large variety of bird species.
After breakfast travel to the tiny modern town of Embilipitiya. Visit the famous Elephant Orphanage where baby elephants are kept and raised before being released back to the jungle. Also enjoy jeep ride in Udawalawe National Park to spot large herds of elephants and hopefully leopards, deer, crocodile and variety of birds. Overnight stay will be at Embilipitiya.
After breakfast you will be transferred to Mattala airport to leave for the home/ onward journey.
