Itinerary

  • Day 01 Kathmandu Arrival

As soon as you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, the Kailash EBC with Charan Sparsha chaperone will receive you and drive you to the hotel. After refreshments, we will take you for the evening aarti at Pashupatinath, thus beginning your divine journey. You will spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing

On day 2 of Lhasa Kailash EBC Tour we will begin our tour by visiting the local marvels of Kathmandu. Once you are done with your breakfast, we will start the journey with a visit to Pashupati Temple and Guheswari Temple. Pashupatinath and Guhyeshwari stand as stunning symbols of the harmonious union between Shiva and Shakti.

Nestled along the River Bagmati, Pashupatinath alone has 518 mini-temples and pagodas. Later on, we will visit the Jal Narayan as well as the Buddhanath Stupa and Swayamabhunath Temple, which tells a story of the Buddha Era.

  • Day 03 Fly Kathmandu – Lhasa

You'll start the day by taking a flight to Tibet. Flying above the stunning Himalayan range, you will observe nature's wonders as the sun shines on the icy peaks that will follow you for the remainder of your journey to Tibet. Because Tibet lies at an elevation of 4380 metres, after we leave you off at the hotel, take care to rest and retain fluids to prevent altitude sickness.

  • Day 04 Lhasa Sightseeing

Lhasa, “the place of God,” has some exquisite and illuminating places to visit that will deepen the sense of the divine and knowledge of history. Beginning an extraordinary journey, starting with a visit to the majestic Potala Palace. For more than three centuries, from 1649 to 1959, this magnificent palace was also used as a winter abode of the revered Dalai Lama, now having been transformed into a captivating museum.

Jokhang Temple is another marvel of history, built in c. 640 by King Songsten Gampso. The exquisite statue within these walls dates back to the era of Shakyamuni Buddha himself.

  • Day 05 Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse

Today we will head to the capital city of Tsang via Shigatse, a city with a humid continental climate that houses a range of monasteries and temples as well as an administrative city. Here resides the Panchem Lama, the prominent figure of the Gelug tradition and an important figure of Buddhism.

We will visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, which was established in 1447 and is known for its 26.2-metre-high bronze Buddha statue sitting on a 3.5-metre-high Lotus seat, adorned with jewels. We will also visit the Maitreya, Tergar, and Enchay monasteries.

  • Day 06 Drive to Everest base camp (Explore)

In the morning, we will transport you to the Himalayan foothills and guide you to the basecamps. Our first stop is Rongbuk Monastery, which rises at an elevation of 5000 metres and is the highest location dedicated to PadmaSambhava. It is a hallowed location for mindfulness and spiritual pursuits, with a long history extending from the 18th century. You will also see the massive grandeur of the Himalayas, with their icy summits and gorgeous shades of white and blue.

Then we'll drive to the base camp at an elevation of 5200 metres. You'll have plenty of time to explore all of these places before returning to the hotel.

  • Day 07 Drive Old Tingri – Saga

Fill yourself with the scrumptious breakfast, because you will have a little time to look around the Tingri Villages and enjoy their local cuisine and attractions. After that, we will drive from Old Tingri to Saga, which will be a 7-hour drive. Between Tingri and Saga, you will witness a range of beautiful snow-capped mountains until you reach the beautiful landscape of Saga.

  • Day 08 Saga - Paryang – Manasarovar

A day for which you have been waiting to visit for all this time. We will drive via Paryang to reach the pristine and holy Mansarovar Lake. Prominent historical pilgrimage destinations visited by followers of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism sparked discussion in their sacred scriptures and the growth of optimum facilities by able sponsors or kings.

We will spend our night at a village's guesthouse near the Mansarovar lake so that you can begin your next-day journey as early as possible.

  • Day 09 Exploration of Lake Manasarovar drive to Darchen

Mansarovar, a holy lake to make you experience the most serene and divine power, is situated at the top. Filled by the Kailash glacier, it exudes peace and divinity. The lake and Mount Kailash come together in balanced harmony to create a dedicated pilgrimage destination for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims in the north.

By the evening, we will head to Tarchen to reach the base camp of the Himalayas so that we can take our excursion to the next level.

  • Day 10 Darchen to Derapuk ( Kailash Parikrama)

Walking along the spectacular rocky cliffs on this thrilling day, with waterfalls gushing and soaring clouds wafting in the unequivocal blue sky, one can't help but experience the omnipotence of the Great God Shiva pouring tonnes of blessings upon them. The spectacular face of Kailash Parbat appears occasionally along the 15-kilometre path, spanning approximately 6 hours of sheer happiness.

  • Day 11 Morning take breakfast and start walking towards Charan Sparsh

It takes around a 3-hour walk to climb up to HR Charan Sparsh and 1 hour to climb down from the shrine. We Kailash EBC with Charansparsh will start this journey after breakfast, as you will need a lot of energy for the trekking.

  • Day 12 Derapuk to Zuthulpuk (Kailash Parikrama)

The most challenging yet spiritual saying begins with the Pilgrim Yarta from Dolma-La Pass, standing at an elevation of 18600 feet between the valleys. The temperature is quite cold; hence, it calls for extra caution. You will cross the Yams Thala to reach Shiv Sthala, a charming and beautiful conglomeration, a divine abode for Lord Shiva, and a highly revered sacred site highly revered by throngs of devotees.

Moving down, you will visit the Parvati Kunda and Gaura Kunda enway, experiencing more of the divine power. Explore the Milarepa Caves. If you want to tour the vicinity of these caverns, you can climb to the Vajra Yogini Temple, which is 200 metres atop the Milarepa caverns.

  • Day 13 Zuthulpuk to Darchen ( Kailash Parikrama) and Drive to Saga

After you get free from your Kailash Parikrma, we will head back to Zuthulpuk to Darchen, which will be a 3-hour on-foot journey (so make sure to keep drinking water and munching on snacks). After that, our Kailash EBC and Charan Sparsha crew will pick you up for the 27-hour journey back to Saga.

  • Day 14 Saga to Shigatse

With no planned schedule, you will have enough time to walk out, enjoy the weather and cuisine, as well as local drinks at Shigatse. We will drive back from Saga Crossing, getting the chance to traverse the stunning valley once more, taking in the breathtaking sight of the snow-covered mountains. Afterwards, unwind for the night at the cosy guest house in Enway.

  • Day 15 Shigatse to Lhasa

Once you are done with our memorable tour to Shigatse with Lhasa EBC Charansparsh, we will pick you up, drive you back to the enigmatic city of Lahass, and drop you off at the hotel. You can either rest or visit the local eateries and shopping arcades as per your wish.

  • Day 16 Lhasa – Kathmandu

When you land back in Kathmandu upon completion of your Lahasa trip, we will receive you and take you to the hotel. You can go shopping on the street, grab some stuff, and drink off your evening.

  • Day 17 Departure/farewell

Today will be your last day with us, as the Kailash EBC with Charan Sparsha will escort you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight to your City.

I recently had the privilege of embarking on a transformative Kailash Yatra tour with Max Holidays along with my mother and father from the US, and I can't praise them enough. From start to finish, their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident. The knowledgeable and friendly team at Max Holidays meticulously planned every aspect of the journey, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. The presence of experienced guides from Max Holidays enriched the journey significantly. Their extensive knowledge of the destinations and their ability to share fascinating insights and stories made the entire experience more meaningful. The weather was tough there, but Max Holidays team was there throughout with us! We completely understand the uncertainties in the weather during the Kailash Yatra and undoubtedly, we were informed about the same by their team. Good work Max Holidays! All three of us had the best time of our life while witnessing the Kailash Parvat right in front of our eyes. Throughout the trip, the Max Holidays team displayed professionalism and genuine care for every participant. Their prompt assistance and willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference. From handling travel arrangements to providing assistance during the Kora trek, they ensured that each traveler's needs were met.

Frequent updates on itinerary to accommodate requests. Impressed with very quick upgrade of car and immediate response to change accommodation on last leg of the tour due to weather conditions. We would also like to highly praise and recommend the driver Dharmendra - his experience in driving round blind cliff edge hair pin bends is amazing. Our heartfelt thanks to Vishal for personally stepping in when necessary. To Vidhushi - Keep up the good work and many thanks once again- Har Har Mahadev.

We took the tour from 26Aug to Sept4. It was a wonderful experience.we were 10 in our tour and everyone came with different spiritual backgrounds. It was a full moon trip. Max holidays provided excellent service. They checked out oxygen levels and provided support when needed. Accommodations are shared and are reasonably good. Services such as porter can be improved but it is on the Tibet side. Food was provided by on site cooks who travelled with the group. Schedule changes could have been communicated better. Vidushi was excellent. Overall out trip was excellent.

The support from Max Holidays team before the tour was excellent. We received quick response from Vidushi every time I had any question or quarry. She was the best in communication and replies. The Nepal team of Max Holidays was exceptionally best to help and support us. Mr. Dorgee and Subhman were very helpful in any way they can do for us. I would like to thank from bottom of our heart to Max Holidays teams in Delhi and Nepal.
