Kailash Trekking and Namtso Lake

Quench Your Thirst for Adventure While Having an Intense Spiritual Experience

You must have heard about the life-changing Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. But if you haven't undertaken this deeply spiritual journey yet, now is your time. Both Mount Kailash and the Lake Mansarovar are held in high esteem by followers of religions like Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Whether you are planning to satisfy your thirst for adventure or divinity, this yatra is all you need. On the one hand, circumambulating Mount Kailash is believed to bring good fortune. On the other, taking a holy dip in the Lake Mansarovar is known to purify your soul. Arrive in Lhasa. Set out on a full day of sightseeing around Lhasa to visit a number of Buddhist monasteries and other attractions. Drive to Shigatse via Gyantse. Visit famous Buddhist monasteries en route. Your next halt is Saga, from where you'll drive to Lake Mansarovar. And get ready for a Darshan of the Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Enjoy adrenaline-pumping trekking tours at places like Darchen, Dhiraphuk and Zhulthulphuk. Get back to Darchen and reach Saga, following the mighty Brahmaputra River. The nomadic regions of western Tibet are worth exploring for adventure lovers. In Shigatse, you'll have the opportunity to gain more insight into Buddhism and its traditions.

Next day, get ready to drive to the Namtso Lake, the highest saltwater lake in the world. This lake is famous for its stunning natural beauty. Spend some quality time at this place while keeping your cameras poised. Finally, drive back to Lhasa to catch your flight to Kathmandu for travelling back home.

"We were a group of 20 passengers and what we all got during the tour was none other than a pack of huge enjoyment. The thing that left me awestruck during the Kailash Yatra was the passion and devotion in the pilgrims there who irrespective how old they are were actively trekking on foot wherever needed. I would personally like to thank the whole team of Max Holidays for guiding us in a very proper manner throughout the whole tour!"
