With Day 05 you arrive at Madurai, the city of baroque temples. You will be arriving Nagercoil Railway station early morning. Rising early you have a chance to see the mesmerising sunrise view in Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. Thereafter, return onboard to the Golden Chariot for breakfast. Later leave for sightseeing of Padmanabhapuram Wooden Palace. Afternoon back to the luxury wheels for lunch and the train also leaves for Kochuveli station. On arrival Kochuveli deboard the train and drive to Kovalam. It was totally an out of the world experience travelling on the Golden Chariot train. The tour was approximately of a week and started and ended in Bangalore.
