Arrive at Nashik this morning, after breakfast proceed to the Godavari Ghats. Take a walk along the ghat you can see holy rituals being performed. Later proceed for a visit to Grover Zampa vineyards. Visit various Vineyards to see the process of making, packaging and storage of some of the most famous Indian Wines. Your Deccan Odyssey luxury train brings you to Jalgaon this morning where after breakfast you will drive to Ajanta Caves which offers exquisite ancient murals & sculptures that depict the life of Buddha. It is one of the greatest monuments in the world recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built up in the earlier 2nd century BC and founded in 1819 the magnificent caves of Ajanta offers 30 caves of which cave no. 09, 10, 19, 26 and 29 are Chaitya-Griha and others are the monasteries. Relish lunch onboard the Deccan Odyssey as it leaves for the colourful city of Kolhapur. Now you are free for leisure time, so, you can enjoy the amenities of the Luxury Train. With its historical and mythical past, rich culture steeped in spiritualism and modernism, Kolhapur has many beautiful sites to offer to the travellers. After taking an early lunch on the luxury wheels leave for sightseeing of Kolhapur visit New Palace Museum and Town Hall museum. Later stroll around the lively markets of the city. Today you will arrive to the most beautiful beach destination of India, Goa. A land of old Portuguese houses, Churches, Temples, Flee markets, Water Sports and still famous for ‘doing nothing’. This beach paradise attracts millions of travellers from almost every corner of the world who visit to enjoy ‘Sun, Sands and Sea’. After breakfast enjoy a walk through the old Latin Quarters known as Fontainhas. Later, leave for Ribandar the former capital of Goa and sightseeing tour of Goa visiting Old Goa, St. Augustine Church, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Mangeshi Temple. Also take a drive to the Shahakari spice plantation for enjoying the traditional meal a Goan Feast which is influenced by the 400 years Old Portuguese rule. Arrive Sindhudurg, which is placed on a rugged island, just off the coast of Malvan. Relish your breakfast onboard then drive for exploring the holy town of Sindhudurg. After back to the Decan Odyssey for lunch then continue the remaining sightseeing of Sindhudurg. and visit the famous cashew nut and mango plantations. In the evening return back to the luxury wheels for dinner and take an onward journey to Mumbai.

We had a fabulous time 08 days well spent on the luxury train Deccan Odyssey Maharashtra Splendor. The tour program was at its best with a visit to Nasik for a Wine tour, Goa had great beaches to relax and enjoy, must to be mentioned the unforgettable Ajanta & Ellora Caves. The interior of the train was beautiful and food was really delicious. All the sightseeing also was well arranged. It was my best time which I had on the train.
It was out of the world experience being at one of the best luxury trains I have ever been to.
