Your tour starts from Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, which has a wonderful urban lifestyle infused with Dravidian culture. Places of visit in and around Chennai includes the Marina Beach, Covelong Beach, Fort St. George, Kaapaleshwar Temple and more. Next on itinerary is UNESCO World Heritage Site at Mahabalipuram. Further you will be visiting Thanjavur. Theheritage temples at Thanjavur were built by Cholas (900-1155 AD) and are considered to be the perfect temple structures ever. The next stoppage will be Swamimalai, a hamlet on the banks of river Kaveri, known for Swamimalai Temple. Your day here is planned for someAyurvedic experience& palm reading. After a relaxing day, we drive you down to Trichy or Tiruchirappalli, this city is characterized by several ancient temples like Ucchi Pillayar Koil temple, the Rock Fort and also many Churches, Colleges and Missions, This place holds significant contributions to the Tamil literature. It’s Chennai from here and then flight to depart for your onward destination.

Day 01 : Arrive Chennai

Upon arrival at airport, welcome by Max Holidays company representative, and assisted transfer to hotel. After rest and relaxation,

Chennai, formerly known as Madras is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. One of the four metropolitan cities of India, the city is situated on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal. Rich in the cultural heritage, the temples, shrines, forts and palaces, the city presents a blend of past with present. Our guide will meet us at the hotel and we proceed to visit the city monuments which includes Fort St. George - the oldest Protestant Church -St. Mary's Church, stands in the fort complex, High Court Complex, Kapaleswarar Temple dedicated to the Lord Shiva, Sri Parthasarathy Temple - dedicated to Lord Krishna, enjoy a time at leisure at Marina Beach.

Day 02 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Chennai

Following breakfast, leave for a day-trip to Kanchipuram, known as the city of thousand temples. In Kanchipuram around 650 stone inscriptions are present that belong to different dynasties, around 18 Vaishnava temples and 108 Shiv temples. The temples here depict the maturity and beauty of Pallava art. Also, do not miss to visit its cotton and silk emporiums to shop for some amazing saris, as Kanchipuram is famous for its silk. Evening return back to hotel in Chennai

Day 03 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram

Today, begin driving to Mahabalipuram, and get an assisted check at the hotel. After wash and change, leave for visiting the popular tourist attractions that include the Shore Temple - an 8th century temple built from granite blocks, Varaha Cave temple – a rock-cut cave temple that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Arjuna's Penance - built during the 7th century, this structure is also known as the Descent of Ganges. Stay Overnight.

Day 04 : Mahabalipuram

Once you have breakfast, spend day to explore the surroundings at your own.

Remark: You can also have a bicycle and visit to the local residential areas, to see and explore culture

Day 05 : Mahabalipuram – Thanjavur

After breakfast, begin our drive to Thanjavur, famous for the Great temples built by Cholas (900-1155 AD) now UNESCO World Heritage Monument.

Upon arrival, check into the hotel. After wash and change, proceed to visit famous temples of Thanjavur.

Visit Rajarajeswara Temple known as Brihadeswara Temple, built by Rajaraja Chola in honour of Lord Shiva in about 1011 AD. This is the biggest and most perfectly built temple of South India. This temple is an example of rhythm, poise and dignity. Later visit to the remains at Paluvurand Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Veda schools and bronze casting village.

Day 06 : Thanjavur - Swamimalai

Post breakfast, hit the road to Swamimalai. Once you reach, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Spend a day at leisure, exploring the local vicinity at your own.

Day 07 : 10: Swamimalai (Ayurvedic treatment & palm reading)

Spend days to relax and rejuvenate your tired mind, body and soul.

Day 08 : Swamimalai – Trichy

After a relaxed breakfast, we will drive to Trichy or Tiruchirappalli located in the central part of Tamil Nadu. Situated on the banks of Cauvery River, the city has religious as well as historical importance. The city is characterized by several temples; churches and a large number of must visit spots. We will proceed with the guided tour, visiting Ucchi Pillayar Koil temple - dedicated to Lord Vinayaka. The city presents a fine mixture of tradition and modernity built around the Rock Fort. The fort was one of the main centres around which the wars of the Carnatic were fought in the 18th century, during the British-French struggle for supremacy in India. In addition to the rock Fort, there are many Churches, Colleges and Missions dating back to the1760s. This city has produced several great Tamil scholars who gave a significant contributions to the Tamil literature.

Day 09 : Trichy – Chennai – Departure

Today is last day of the tour, post breakfast; get on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight for Chennai for your onward destination.
