See the Ghoom Monastery, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and take a leisurely stroll through the local markets of Darjeeling. Next, head to Gangtok, capital of Sikkim. Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive Kolkata

    After arriving at the Kolkata airport, meet our representative who'll escort you to your pre booked hotel. Rest and relax in the cozy comfort of the hotel room. In the evening, you may attend Darshan at the Kalighat Temple. Stay for the night in your hotel.

  • Day 02 : Kolkata

    Kolkata - a crowded, noisy, but fascinating metropolis with it's public buildings strongly in British character. Enjoy full day tour of Kolkata visit The Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral, Fort William, Raj Bhawan and the High Court are Highlight's. Also visit Late Mother Teresa's Children Home.

  • Day 03 : Darjeeling

    Next morning, transfer to Kolkata airport to board a flight to Bagdogra. On arrival at Bagdogra airport, meet our representative. You will be driven to Darjeeling. Spend rest of the time to explore the city and local market of Darjeeling. Retire for the night in the hotel.

  • Day 04 : Darjeeling

    Proceed for sightseeing tour of Darjeeling visit Tiger Hill - a strategic point to watch the spectacular sunrise. Also visit Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and experience the making of traditional items such as feather goods, woolen goods, carpets etc. in the Tibetan Refugee Self help center.

  • Day 05 : Gangtok

    Head towards the perfect blend of past and present - Gangtok the capital city of Sikkim. On arrival, check into hotel and later go for the sightseeing tour visit Do-Drul Chorte a 200 year old Monastery and Enchey Monastery – a 200-yr-old monastery and Research Institute of Tibetology.

  • Day 06 : Tsomgo Lake

    Today, you will visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist monks used to study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Later drive back to Gangtok hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 07 : Kalimpong

    Morning visit famous Rumtek Monastery. It is a large monastery where many local students study. Then drive to Kalimpong - located at an altitude of 1250 meters. Evening visit Tharpa Choling Monastery, belonging to the Gelugpa sect of Dalai Lama. Also visit a flower nursery.

  • Day 08 : Phuentsholing

    Depart for Indo – Bhutan border (220 kms/approx 07 hrs). From here, our Bhutan representative will receive you and take you to Phuntsholing. The evening is fixed for visit Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, a small temple containing various ancient Buddhist artifacts. Later, enjoy a leisure walk around the local market.

  • Day 09 : Thimpu

    Today, prepare yourself to enter into a new country and discover new customs and religion on your route to the capital city of Bhutan, “Thimphu”. On arrival at Thimphu, day is free for relaxation.

  • Day 10 : Thimpu

    Sightseeing tour of Thimphu will be preceded today. You will visit Tranhichho Dzong (The magnificent castle), Memorial Chhorten stupa built in the remembrance of Bhutan's third king, the National Library of Bhutan, textile and folk Heritage museum of Bhutan and the Government Handicrafts Emporium of Thimphu.

  • Day 11 : Punakha

    Proceed for Punakha en-route visiting Do Chula pass possess most enthralling views of Bhutan. Arrive Punakha and visit the seventeenth - century Punakha Dzong and observe the Wangduephodrang Dzong at Wangduephodrang where one can find the confluence of Punakha Chhu and Tang Chhu rivers.

  • Day 12 : Paro

    Today start your day with the departure to gorgeous valley of Paro which prides itself on comprising rich culture, picturesque beauty, hundreds of folklore. These sites include Ta Dzong, National Museum of the kingdom of Bhutan and Ringpung Dzong which you will visit on arrival to Paro.

  • Day 13 : Paro

    Set off for the sightseeing tour of Paro where you will visit fortress of Durkgyel Dzong. Afternoon we will visit one of the traditional farm house to understand the lifestyle, culture and religion of the local residents. Evening is free for leisure activities.

  • Day 14 : Depart Paro

    Day free for leisure and on time transferred to airport to board on your flight for Kolkata. Board flight back to home from Kolkata airport.
