Hidden Paradise of Northeast India

Buddhist festivals like the Saga Dawa, Chaam and Lossong attract lots of tourist. One can experience the local traditions and culture during these festivities. The local market here has beautifully hand crafted artefacts that can be bought as souvenirs & gifts. There is a handicraft and carpet weaving center in Lachung that make exquisite woolen carpets, rugs and shawls.
