Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive - Delhi

    After a traditional Indian welcome by Max Holiday’s representative at Delhi airport you will be escorted to your hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 02 : Delhi - Agra

    Take lavish breakfast at your hotel before going for sightseeing tour of Delhi. During the sightseeing trip you will visit some of the major tourist attractions of Old and New Delhi including Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India), Raj Ghat (The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi), Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and drive past through India Gate, President’s Palace and other Govt. buildings in diplomatic area of Delhi.

    Also visit the busy streets of Chandni Chowk (the Silver street / Moonlight Square). To explore this area fully would take days, but a great way to get around and experience the vibrant atmosphere and array of sounds and sights on display is by traditional cycle-rickshaw.

    After completing Delhi sightseeing tour we drive to Agra, along one of the India’s finest expressway.

  • Day 03 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

    Today during sunrise you will be taken out to visit the “Monument of Love” - Taj Mahal. Symbolizing the eternal love frozen in white marble Taj Mahal is a masterpiece built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in sweet memories of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After having explained by our tour guide about the monument, spend leisurely time at this beautiful monument clicking some most memorable photographs.

    After Taj Mahal visit we drive to our hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.

    Following the visit to Agra Fort, drive to the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. This city was once the capital of Mughal Dynasty in India but they left the city due to acute shortage of water and moved to Agra. A huge part of this beautiful city was given to Sufi saint Khwaja Mainuddin Chishti. This part is a beautiful mosque which is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture.

    From here, continue our drive to the pink city of Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel for leisurely stay.

  • Day 04 : Jaipur Sightseeing

    The day starts with an excursion to massive Amer Fort. Situated on the top of Aravali hill and overlooking the Jaipur city, Amer was once the capital of Jaipur city. Take an elephant ride to reach on the top of the hill to visit the Amer palace. After Amer Fort visit the dashing Jaigarh Fort which where one can see the world's largest canon on wheel displayed for visitors.

    In the afternoon visit Jantar Mantar Observatory and City Palace museum which covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this palace is a now a museum, containing three wings of Armory, Textiles and Artifacts. While driving through Hawa Mahal, stop here to see the monument and do some photography.

    Evening is at leisure to explore the local vicinity at your own. Jaipur offers the world famous handicrafts, silver and gold jewellery, precious and semi-precious stones, beads and jewellery, blue pottery products, carpets and textiles which are the most preferred ethnic items by visitors.   • Day 05 : Jaipur – Mandawa

    After breakfast take a drive to the small town of Mandawa dating back to 15th century. Mandawa lies in the world famous Shekhawati region and is famous for its beautiful open art gallery as most of the walls are richly painted and wide use of the frescoes paintings can also be seen at Castle Mandawa.

    Arrive Mandawa and check into your pre-booked heritage hotel.

    After relaxed time come out of your hotel in the afternoon to visit famous havelis like Gori Shankar Haveli, Goenka haveli etc recognized for beautiful frescoes ornamenting the walls & ceiling. A leisurely walk into this tiny hamlet is advised where you get a chance to intermingle with local folks. After spending some time in the village streets return to your heritage hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 06 : Mandawa - Bikaner

    After breakfast at your hotel drive towards Bikaner. The City Bikaner was founded by the Rathore prince Rao Bikaji in 1488 AD most enterprising son of Rao Jodhaji of Marwar.

    Upon arrival in Bikaner, check into your hotel

    In the afternoon you will see your guide who will take you for a visit to impressive Junagarh Fort built in the year 1588 by Raja Rai Singh. Like other majour forts of Rajasthan, this fort is not situated on the hill top. Later visit to Lallgarh Palace whose architecture was designed by Sir Swinton Jacob for Maharaja Ganga Singh. Evening fee for own activities and night stay will be at your hotel.

  • Day 07 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer

    Breakfast will be served in the hotel and then we check out to drive to the beautiful golden deserts city of Jaisalmer. Enroute to Jaisalmer stop to pay a visit to Camel Breeding Farms and Karni Mata Temple (commonly known as the Rat Temple to travellers). After a 5-6 hours long drive check in your hotel to relax. Night stay at your hotel.

  • Day 08 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing

    Today morning after breakfast explore the Jaisalmer city covering the massive and beautiful Jaisalmer Fort, constructed in the year 1156 by Raja Rawal Jaisal on the brink of an 80m elevated hill. It is the only ‘Living Fort’ in India where several families redsides in till date. Various charming Havelis (old house) are another attraction of this city, we visit the glorious Patwaon Ki Haveli and Gadisagar Lake.

    In evening enjoy the excursion tour to Sam Sand Dunes which lies 40 kms far from the main Jaisalmer city. At Sam Dunes enjoy the camel ride and get the real sense of desert life amidst endless mounts of sands. Later in evening back to the hotel for night stay in Jaisalmer. Overnight stay is at Jaisalmer.

    Highlights : While booking this tour with us you can also choose and enjoy stay in a desert camp near Sam Dunes. Traditional dinner and dances are quite common activity for travellers visiting Sam Dunes.

  • Day 09 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

    After having visited the beautiful Jaisalmer deserts, today we will head to the ‘Blue city’ Jodhpur. Jodhpur is famous among travellers as ‘Blue City’ of India due to its blue painted houses and building all around the city. Jodhpur is a paradise for professional photographers as a large no. of photographers from around the world take longer stay here to catch some extraordinary and uncommonly beautiful pictures of the city and its people. The city reverberates with tales of antiques in the bareness of the desert. Visit Mehrangarh Fort erected by the Rathor King Rao Jodha , in 1459 A.D.The fort stands like a giant, projecting from a range of hills. It is 120 metres high.It is a huge massive and elegant structure. It has strong walls and square towers all round it. Subtle barriers have been thrown across the roundabout ascent. It is a fine example of craftsmanship. Jaswant Thada, it was the cremation ground for the royal rulers.

    Drive through the very massive and extraordinary beautiful Umaid Bhawan Palace which is now converted into a luxury hotel. The last point for today’s sightseeing tour in Jodhpur will be Mandore Garden which is about 9 km from the city.

    Evening explore the market of the imperial city odhpur later return to hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 10 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur

    After breakfast head for Udaipur the ‘City of Lakes’. On the way to Udaipur stop at Ranakpur where you can visit very famous Jain group of temples. It is to be noted that the temple authorities does not allow the guides to visit the complex with the tourists, therefore only audio guides will be your help in the temples for explaining it. The main Jain temple is Chaumukha or Four faced temple dedicated to Adinath and consists of 29 halls and 426 pillars full of sculptured decoration. No two pillars are alike here.

    After visiting the Jain temples at Ranakpur, drive to Udaipur.

    In Udaipur spend beautiful evening while riding on a boat on Lake Pichola. Carry your camera with you as during the boat trip you are going to witness some gorgeous heritage buildings surrounded by beautiful nature in Udaipur

  • Day 11 : Udaipur Sightseeing

    In the morning visit Jagdish temple where you can listen the morning prayres creating a very spiritual atmosphere for the visitors. Visit the beautiful Jagdish temple and drive to City Palace museum where one can find rooms of erstwhile royal families with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies. Also visit the famous Sahelion-ki-Bari (the gardens of royal ladies lay out with lush green lawns, kiosks, trees and beautiful fountains). Later proceed to the local folk museum having beautiful peacock mosaics, splendid series of figures in mid 19 century

  • Day 12 : Udaipur - Delhi (Flight)

    After breakfast have relaxed time in your hotel to watch the beauty of the heritage city and later in the morning depending on your flight time the representative of Max Holidays will shift you to Udaipur airport to board your flight to Delhi.

    On arriving at Delhi airport get assisted transfer to your hotel and spend free time on your own for last minute shopping or packing etc before leaving India to your next destination.

  • Day 13 : Depart Delhi
