Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

    After a traditional Indian welcome by Max Holidays company representative at the airport, you will be escorted to hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Delhi

  • Day 02 : Delhi – Lucknow (flight) Lucknow – Sravasti

    Early morning transferred to airport to board your flight to Lucknow. Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Lucknow airport and drive to Sravasti, one of the prime Buddhist destinations in Uttar Pradesh state of India. It is here where Lord Buddha spent 25 years staying in the Jetvana Gardens and had performed some miracles. The city believed to have old - aged stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples.   • Day 03 : Sravasti – Lumbini

    Morning after buffet breakfast at hotel departs for the sightseeing of Sravasti. Sravasti is most importantly known for two clusters of shrines i.e. Maheth and Saheth. After sightseeing depart for Lumbini. It is the birth place of Lord Buddha and since then lost somewhere in this part of the world where it was rediscovered in 1890 after 1,500 years. Overnight at Lumbini

  • Day 04 : Lumbini – Kushinagar

    After breakfast depart for sightseeing tour of Lumbini, a place where you can visit Tilaurakot, Niglihawa, Sagarhawa, Gotihawa & Aroarakot. After sightseeing proceed to Kushinagar where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Upon arrival at Kushinagar, check into hotel. Overnight at Kushinagar

  • Day 05 : Kushinagar - Vaishali - Patna

    Today morning visit Mahaparinirvana temple and Ramabhar stupa. Then precede for your sightseeing tour to Vaishali a small village known for being the oldest republic state of the world. It is also famous for the last preaching of Budhha. Then continue your journey to Patna which is formerly as Patliputra during the Magdhan period. Overnight in Patna.

  • Day 06 : Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya

    Morning after buffet breakfast, depart for Bodhgaya, en-route visiting Rajgir a sacred place for Buddhism. It is considered that Lord Buddha use to meditate here and preach on the hill of Vultures, Griddhakuta. Then proceed for Nalanda, the oldest university of world, though it have lost its charm and some parts are destroyed still its undying glory and uniqueness makes the visit exciting. After Nalanda depart for Bodhgaya. Upon arrival in Bodhgaya, check into your hotel. Overnight at Bodhgaya

  • Day 07 : Bodhgaya

    Today explore the most talked and awaited temple known for its purity in the Buddhist religion i.e. Mahabodhi temple. Afternoon free for religious activities and then later depart for Niranjana river, Sujata village and monasteries of different countries (optional). Overnight at Bodhgaya.

  • Day 08 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi

    After buffet breakfast depart for the holiest city of Hindus i.e. Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi, check into your hotel. Evening visit aarti with boat ride on the Ghats of Ganges River (optional). Spend evening time in roaming around the busy streets in Varanasi and explore more. Overnight at Varanasi.

  • Day 09 : Varanasi – Agra (overnight train)

    Early morning experience a boat ride on holy River Ganges to witness the early offerings and prayer on the bank of the river.

    Return back to hotel for breakfast and later proceed to enjoy sightseeing tour of the pilgrimage city of Varanasi. Visit Vishwanath Temple also known as the Golden Temple, Durga Temple also known as Monkey Temple and The Panchteerthis - the five largely consecrated ghats i.e. Assi, Dashashvamedh, Adi Keshava, Panchaganga and Manikarnika. Your tour also comprises drive through the world famous Banaras Hindu University - One of the largest and oldest universities in India offering very green and nonviolent campus. It has a museum called Bharat Kala Bhawan.

    Evening, transfer you to the railway station to board an overnight train to Agra. Overnight aboard air conditioned sleeper accommodation.

  • Day 10 : Arrive – Agra

    Early morning arrive Agra railway station where our representative will meet and assist to your hotel. After freshen up and some rest, depart for the sightseeing tour of Agra which was once the capital of Mughals and now boost about having the world’s most beautiful monument, “Taj Mahal”. First visit the Agra fort and Itimad-ud-Daulah tomb.

  • Day 11 : Agra – Delhi

    After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Delhi, en-route visiting Sikandra Fort, the tomb of Akbar. On arrival in Delhi, check in at hotel.

    Remark: You may pay a visit to Delhi Haat, where you find the Indian cuisines of different states and can buy some souvenirs representing the culture of different states

  • Day 12 : Delhi Sightseeing

    After breakfast proceed for the combined sightseeing trip of Old and New Delhi. Delhi is the metropolis city which is one of the fastest growing cities in India and serving as the capital city. The city is known for its wide spread boulevards and greenery.Old Delhi includes visit to Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosque of India), Red fort and Raj Ghat (The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi). New Delhi holds attractions like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, President’s Palace and India Gate etc. Overnight stay is at Delhi.

  • Day 13 : Leave Delhi

    On time you will be escorted by our representative to the airport to board flight for onward journey
