Morning proceed for guided city tour of Cochin – God’s own country. Start the tour visiting Chinese Fishing Net one of the techniques only found in Cochin after China used for fishing. Jewish Synagogue - fine example of Jewish architecture. St. Francis Church built by the Portuguese, famous after the death of Vasco de Gama, who was kept here after his death in Cochin. Following sightseeing, drive to Munnar a beautiful hill station filled with tea and spice plantation, was once the summer retreat of the Britishers. On arrival, check in one of the hill resort.
After breakfast, take an excursion to the Eravikulam National Park which is a home of rare and endangered species of mountain goats, also many species of flora and fauna are found here. The park offers the great views of tea gardens from the mountain. Visit the Mattupetty Dam surrounded by the tea gardens and Mattupetty lake, due to the lake many species of wild animals can be spotted here. One can enjoy the boating here. Today morning leave for boat cruise to view the jungle activities where you can spot elephants, wild boar, sambar, and deer coming on the shore of the Periyar Lake. The vegetation is mainly of the moist deciduous type which mainly composes of marshy grasslands. The main fun is to watch the herds of elephant bathing in the Periyar Lake. Following a leisurely breakfast, we will drive to Alleppey to embark the deluxe air-conditioned private houseboat. The houseboat makes its way through paddy fields and coconut tree, while boating through canals, you can see the local people engaged in their routine activities.
Sail slowly to Alleppey to disembark from houseboat and then by road drive to Cochin. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel
