06 Days Golden Triangle Tour from Delhi

Feel Historical and Cultural India's Heartbeat Like Never Before

If India is the body, the Golden Triangle Circuit is its heart. Yes, if you want to feel the heartbeat of India, you should spend time in cities like Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Together, these tree cities form a triangular shape on the map of India, hence the name. What is interesting to note about these travel destinations is that they are located at roughly an equal distance from each other. If you are travelling by road, you can cover each side of this triangular circuit in 6-7 hours. Delhi, the capital city of India, is divided into two parts – Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi was established by the famous Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. New Delhi showcases the very modern, and features a number of government administrative buildings. Agra, which was once the capital of the Mughal dynasty, is home to the very beautiful Taj Mahal. Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, has a number of forts and palaces of the Rajput era, plus local markets that remain packed with items of art and craft. All in all, the Golden Triangle Tour promises a unique and memorable experience.

Your Golden Triangular tour starts with a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. In Old Delhi, make a visit to the Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, both built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Also, enjoy a rickshaw ride in the streets of the Chandni Chowk, a market whose history goes back to the Mughal era. New Delhi features the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, the India Gate and a number of modern-day buildings. Next day, travel to Agra by road. The city of Agra is well-known for two most famous tourist attractions – the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Soak up the heavenly charm of the ivory-white Taj Mahal. Explore the astounding features of the Agra Fort. A visit to Jaipur, the 'Pink City of India' is next on the list. The capital city of the state of Rajasthan, Jaipur is where you'll explore the history of the Rajput kings.
