A Wonderful Introduction to India's Top 3 Cities
Travelling should be like the show that doesn't stop ever – not even when you are really short of time. If you are travelling to India but don't have many days in hand, the best you can do is explore the much popular Golden Triangle circuit, which comprises of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Yes, you can cover these three world-renowned travel destinations in as little as three days. If you look at the map of India, you'll see that Delhi, Agra and Jaipur form a triangle, hence the name. The total distance of this circuit by road is 720 km. In 4-6 hours, you can travel from one city of the Golden Triangle to another. Each of the cities of the Golden Triangle presents a unique experience for the traveller. While Delhi and Agra offer a deep insight into the Mughal history, the city of Jaipur provides you with an excellent opportunity to dig out the history of the Rajput kings.
After your arrival in Delhi, you'll drive to Agra, the 'City of the Taj'. The city of Agra was once the capital of the Mughal kings. When in Agra, get ready to be enchanted by the astounding beauty of the Taj Mahal. The monument is aptly termed as the 'Symbol of Love' because it was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Interact with the travel guide to uncover some interesting titbits about how Taj Mahal was built. Later, make a visit to the gigantic Agra Fort, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next day, travel to Jaipur by road while visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the 'Royal Ghost Town'. Resume driving to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan and very famous for forts, palaces and markets. Visit such well-known tourist attractions as the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Next morning, enjoy an elephant ride up to the Amer Fort, located on the top of the ancient Aravalli Hills. "I came to India last year in the month of November with my friend. The experience of visiting India was fabulous. When i arrived the company representative came to receive on the Airport. He greeted us very well. On the second day in India it was my friend’s birthday, Max Holidays made arrangements with the hotel in Jaipur. They provided us surprise cake, my friend felt and delighted. The driver was superb; we were provided good Innova Car. We opted for the optional Rajasthani Folk Dance with dinner and had a lovely evening in Jaipur.
A Special Thanks to Max Holidays for making our trip Memorable."
