India Culture Tours

  • Culture and heritage tours always attract a traveller's attention the most! No matter which country you may be located in, it's always interesting to discover the age-old customs and traditions while enjoying the hospitality of other countries in the world. Whether it's India or its neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, each of these countries are quite well-known for their diverse cultural heritage all across the world.

  • Known as the 'Mini World' or an 'Ehtnological Museum', India features an endless diversity. During your culture and heritage tour, you would love exploring the different engaging aspects of the country – music, dance, art and craft, races, languages, demographic structure etc. Likewise, Nepal that's located in the foothills of the gigantic Himalayas also draws in hordes of culture enthusiasts from different parts of the world. The Indian and the Tibetan cultures have also had quite an influence on Nepal's cultural heritage. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, is a widely known world heritage site in Nepal. UNESCO World Heritage sites in Nepal include Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur among others.

  • Bhutan is a country which provides a window into the Buddhist culture. The teachings of Lord Buddha has shaped the country's character a great deal. Though Bhutan is a tiny country, exploring its cultural diversity and rich heritage will certainly give you a rejuvenating experience. Even if you head to other countries of the Indian subcontinent like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, you would love to spend many more days than your chosen tour package allows you. Each country has its own unique character and flavour.

"Truly, I can’t let the trip’s memories out of my mind. India is a hub of enjoyment. The people there are so lively and I really enjoyed their company. Thank You Max holidays for introducing me to the hidden culture of this place. India has much more to offer than what I have read from varied books and newspapers"

"India has everything and that too is so positive. Its cuisines, people, traditions and culture. I witnessed the Cultural Soul of India through a Classical Tour organised by the Max Holidays! It was so well-planned that I didn’t even feel any kind of issue during my visit here. I loved the Chandela temples as they are really creative."

"I am awestruck by India’s beauty. I experienced an early boat on the Ganges at Varanasi and that was really peaceful. I woke up early morning and also did meditation alongside the holy river and that was undoubtedly refreshing. I loved Varanasi. I was stunned by the spiritual beliefs of people there and the way they offered prayers."
