Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

    On arrival, meet with Max Holidays representative at Delhi international Airport who will escort you to your pre booked hotel. Check in hotel, get freshen up and relax. Overnight stay in hotel.

  • Day 02 : Delhi

    After breakfast, start your Central India Classical tour from Delhi. Enjoy sightseeing tour with a visit to the ancient monuments of Old Delhi covering Raj Ghat – the cremation ground of father of nation Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid – largest - area wise and pioneer architecturally mosque of India, Red Fort – the witness of all the ups and downs of Indian ruling history, Chandni Chowk – the North India largest trading market, famous for its unique and bustling lanes. After lunch, go for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi by covering Humayun’s Tomb & Qutub Minar – both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and are known not only in India but are famous worldwide. Take a drive pass through to India Gate – the war memorial built to pay tribute to all the great and brave soldiers who have sacrificed their lives to save their mother land, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhawan – the diplomatic lanes to have a near view from where the great Indian rules are declared. Spend your night in the hotel at Delhi.

  • Day 03 : Delhi - Bhopal (Shatabdi Express)

    Early morning get transferred to the railway station to catch the super fast Shatabdi Express. Now you are head towards the capital of Heart of India – Bhopal famous with a suffix of “The City of Lakes”. Upon arrival get an assisted transfer and check into the hotel. After change and wash, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Bhopal city which covers Bhopal Bharat Bhawan – It was completed in 1982 and designed by the celebrated architect Charles Correa, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (National Museum of Mankind), Laxmi Narayan or Birla Temple – It was built atop of a hill by famous Birla family and dedicated to Goddess of wealth “Lakshmi“, Taj-ul-Masjid means “The Crown of Mosques” – One of the largest mosque in Asia also used as a Madarsah (a Islamic religion school). Evening enjoy the boat ride at the Boat Club on the Upper Lake. Overnight stay at hotel in Bhopal.

  • Day 04 : Excursion to Bhimbetka and Sanchi

    After breakfast, we will take you for an excursion tour to two world famous sites, both of them has been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start your heritage site visit with Bhimbetka – It is located 45 Kms south of Bhopal. It is famous for spectacular paintings approximately 9,000 years old, found in over 500 rock shelter caves that beautifully portray the pre-historic time and one of the earliest dwellings of human beings. In the afternoon, visit Sanchi (46 Kms north east of Bhopal) - the pilgrimage site for Buddhists in Central India is famous for “The Great Stupa” constructed by the Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century B.C. each and every stone will be speaking the legendary history of the Buddha time. Also Visit others Stupas, Ashoka Pillar, Museum, Buddhist Vihras, temples and monastery. Evening, return back to Bhopal. Overnight stay at Bhopal.

  • Day 05 : Bhopal - Indore

    Have a hearty breakfast at hotel and then head to Indore. On the way to Indore stop midway at Ujjain – one of the pious and religiously famous cities, it is also the centre for famous Kumbha Mela. Visit some of the important sites in Ujjain including Mahakaleshwar Temple also known as “shrine of Mahakaleshwar”, it is one of the 12 jyotirlinga in India, Bade Ganesh ka Mandir – It is dedicated to God Ganesh the symbol of prosperity and wisdom, Chintaman Ganesh Temple – The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh also known as Chaintamani, it is believed that the idol here has evolved and is self made. Devotees visit the temple to remove their all worries and tension, Bhartrihari Caves – This caves was named after the famous saga “Bhatrihari” a spiritual poet and a great lover, it is situated near river Shipra and Gadkalika Temple, Harsiddhi Temple – It was believed that after the death of Sati, lord Shiva carried her burning body and performed Tandava (the dance for destruction), to control his anger Lord Vishnu (the preserver god) cut the body of the goddess Sati by his Chakra. The different part of the body of Sati fell at different places which were further worshipped at the sacred Shakti Peethas. The elbow of Sati fell here, the deity here is Annapurna. Also cover Vedh Shala (Observatory) – The 17th century observatory built by Maharaja Jai singh was an important centre of astronomy in the ancient times though it was smaller than those observatories in Jaipur and Delhi, Kal Bhairava – Dedicated to Lord Kal Bhairava, liquor is offered as the part of ritual in this temple, Kaliadeh Palace – situated on the bank of river Shipra, it presents a magnificent view of the palace and make it a worth visiting site , Gopal Mandir – dedicated to Blue lord Krishna, the preserver of the universe, it is a beautiful example of Maratha Architecture and Navagarha Mandir – the temple is dedicated to nine ruling planets as it is believed that it effects the life of the people. After this religious sightseeing of Ujjain further head towards Indore.

    On arrival in Indore get an assisted check in to the hotel. Get freshen up and relax. Evening is free to explore the local nearby area on your own. Overnight stay at hotel in Indore.

  • Day 06 : Indore - Mandu

    Have a relaxed breakfast in the busiest business and commercial city of Madhya Pradesh. Head for the sightseeing of the Indore city and cover some of them like Indore Museum, Kamla Nehru Park, Lal Bagh Palace and a religious spot by covering Bada Ganpati Temple. Further have a drive towards Mandu. Mandu has an old name as “Shadiabad” meaning the City of Happiness or City of Joy – full with Scenic splendor.

    Upon arrival in the beautiful city of architecture and nature Mandu, check in to your pre-booked hotel. After brief relax in a hotel, enjoy splendid sightseeing of Mandu that includes the impressive Jahaz Mahal or Ship Palace – It was built between two artificial lakes in 15th century by Ghiyas-Ud-Din- Khilji, gives the impression of ship floating in water, Hindola Mahal also known as “Swinging Palace” is the audience hall of the time of Ghiyas – Ud – Din - Khilji, Hoshang's Tomb – India’s first marble monument built in 1440 A.D. and is a fine example of Afghan architecture ever built in India, Ashrafi Mahal or The Palace of gold coins, it’s a ruin of the originally constructed Muslim School and Rani Rupmati's Pavilion. Evening is free to explore the local nearby area. Return back to the hotel for the night stay.

  • Day 07 : Mandu – Maheshwar – Mandu

    Early morning after breakfast enjoy the surrounding and take a drive towards another religious site of Madhya Pradesh – Maheshwar. Enroute visit Omkareshwara – a popular pilgrimage of beautiful temples and a surrounding of religious hymns and scent in its environment. Visit the famous Shiva Temple. The Island formed by the two distributaries of river Narmada, forms the island in the form of ‘OM’. Further, head towards the Maheshwar. Maheshwar is famous for its temples as well as its delicate cotton and silk. It has an elegant Mahakaleshwar Temple. The architecture of which is definitely appreciating. Maheshwar has a fort and many temples to visit and admire. Visit the Maheshwar Fort; it houses the museum and a large statue of Rani Ahilya Bai, it’s a worth visiting sight. After the religious sightseeing of your tour drive back to Mandu for our overnight stay.

  • Day 08 : Mandu – Indore - Delhi (flight) – Departure

    After breakfast drive to Indore, and transfer to Indore airport to board flight to Delhi. On arrival Delhi you will be transferred to Delhi International airport to board onward flight back to home.
