  • Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

    Upon reaching the international airport in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative, who will then escort you to your hotel. You can unwind and for the night stay in the hotel.

  • Day 2 Delhi to Gwalior to Datia

    In the morning, head to the railway station to catch the Shatabdi train and reach Gwalior. Upon arrival at Gwalior Railway station, our representative will greet you and take you to Datia. You will be taken to your accommodation when you arrive.

    Datia is a historic town that was mentioned in the Mahabharata as Dantavakra. It is a hub for the trade of food grains and cotton products, and handloom weaving is a significant industry. The town is renowned for Raja Bir Singh Deo's seven-story palace, constructed in 1614. With Shri Pitambara Devi's Siddha Peeth, the Bagalamukhi Devi Temple, and the Gopeshwar Temple, Datia is a popular pilgrimage site for devotees.

    After refreshing yourself, take a tour of Datia village. Spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Datia to Orchha

    After finishing our breakfast, we will go for Pitambara Peeth, a renowned Shakti Pitha near Datia's entrance in Madhya Pradesh. This holy site boasts Bagalamukhi Devi Temple and Dhumavati Mai Temple, established by the esteemed Shri Golokwasi Swamiji Maharaj. Vankhandeshwar temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva from the Mahabharata period, is also located here.

    Afterwards, we will go to Sonagiri, a revered Jain hill. Later in the day, we will depart for Orchha and check into our homestay upon arrival. We will spend the night in Orchha. Hence concluding the Tribal & Wildlife Tour of Central India for the day.

  • Day 4 Orchha

    Following breakfast, spend the entire day exploring Orchha's fort, palace, and rural villages. While touring the villages, engage with the locals and have fun playing with their kids. 

    Take a trip to Ganj in Khajuraho to visit families of artisans, potters, carpenters, and daily labourers. The locals are welcoming, friendly, and happy to have you as their guests.

    Savour the delicious meals cooked by the locals and take a shot at traditional cooking. Sharing a meal with the locals is often a gratifying experience. In the evening, revel in the Bundeli music before dinner. Stay overnight in Orchha.

  • Day 5 Orchha to Khajuraho

    On the fifth day of the Tribal & Wildlife Tour of Central India, we will travel toward the archaeological city of Khajuraho. Check-in into the hotel after reaching. After freshening up, we shall take a sightseeing tour of the Khajuraho temples. Our excursion will take us to the Eastern Group temples of Khajuraho. The morning will begin on a divine note as we guide you through the mystical galleries of the captivating temples of Khajuraho. The striking artistic expression of sensual sculptures and the impeccably designed structures are the attractions that will leave an everlasting impression on your heart.

    In the evening, relish a light and sound show. Afterwards, return to the hotel for the night stay.

  • Day 6 Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh

    Following breakfast, we will depart for the Bandhavgarh tiger sanctuary. Upon reaching the wildlife lodge, complete all the formalities. Subsequently, post lunch, be prepared to venture into the tiger reserve to explore wildlife tribal tour. Later, in the evening, we return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night.

  • Day 7 Bandhavgarh

    Wake up early today for our second successive expedition into the Bandhavgarh National Park. Walking through the tall elephant grass as the morning mist gradually dissipates is an unforgettable experience. We will then head back to the resort for breakfast.

    Following breakfast, we will depart on a day trip to the neighbouring tribal settlements and understand the tribal culture of India. We will delve into the communities of Bijaria and Umaria, engaging with the residents and gaining insight into their customs, traditions, and ways of living.

  • Day 8 Bandhavgarh to Jabalpur to Delhi

    Following breakfast, we will depart for Jabalpur. Upon reaching, reach the airport to catch the flight heading towards Delhi. As soon as we arrive at Delhi airport, our representative will greet us and assist in transferring to the hotel. Relax and spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day-9 Departure from Delhi

    Arrive at the airport to catch the flight to your next destination. Here, our Tribal & Wildlife Tour of Central India comes to an end.

Kisama Heritage Village has morangs that showcase the life of the various tribes in Nagaland. Very well organised festival at the in the first week of December. The food, the dances, the songs, their costumes and jewelry are on display
