Upon reaching the IGI Airport, you will receive a cordial reception from the Max Holidays agent, who will take you to your reserved lodging. Unwind and enjoy a comfortable night's rest as you prepare for the exciting adventure that awaits you. Soon we will start with our sacred stupas and caves tour.

  • Day-2 Exploring Delhi

After a satisfying morning meal, prepare for a whole day of sacred stupas and caves tour and travel to several temples in Delhi renowned for their remarkable structure, uplifting ambience, and the spot where you experience a divine connection. Our journey commences with Akshardham Temple (not open on Mondays), also recognised as Swaminarayan Temple, showcasing Hindu customs and its ethereal beliefs. Afterwards, we visit The Lotus Temple (closed on Mondays) in New Delhi. It is an impressive architecture that is worthy of a visit. Our next trip will be to The National Museum of India, renowned for its extensive collection of artworks and relics dating from the prehistoric era to the current age. The National Museum is closed on Mondays and other holidays.

Travel to India Gate, a lofty stone memorial constructed as a tribute to the Indian soldiers who bravely fought and perished in World War 1 and the Afghan War. The Presidential Palace, also known as the Rastrapathi Bhawan served as the official dwelling of the President of the Indian Republic. Adjacent to it is the Parliament House, renowned for its circular architecture, which accommodates the two parliamentary houses. These structures represent a strong democratic nation, embodying India and its power. For lunch and dinner, savour the delectable North Indian cuisine at a nearby eatery. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day-3 Early-morning flight from Bhopal to Sanchi

The next day travels early with either an initial breakfast or a packed one before you are transported to the airport to catch your flight to Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival, a representative from Max Holidays will greet you and help you transport you to the sacred Sanchi Stupa, which is 45 km away on a hilltop. Sanchi Stupa is Buddhist art. It is one of the earliest stone monuments commissioned by Emperor Ashoka over the remnants of Lord Buddha. This building, along with others in the Sanchi stupa and caves, represents the acceptance and respect that people have for Gautam Buddha and his teachings. Drive to Indore  after stopping to eat some local fare for lunch at a nearby eatery. When you arrive, you will check into the hotel you had already reserved, where you may have a leisurely meal and spend the night.

  • Day-4 Indore – Aurangabad via Ajanta Cave

The following day, after breakfast at the hotel, you will be transported to Aurangabad, a metropolis in Maharashtra. During the journey, we will halt at Ajanta Caves, which are closed on Mondays and represent the most exquisite illustration of ancient Indian art. These caves were constructed in two stages and exhibit paintings, visual narratives, and sculptures of Buddhist divinities carved into the rock. Ajanta comprises a total of 30 rock-cut caves. These caves boast numerous 'chaityas' (chapels) and 'viharas' (monasteries), showcasing the incredible artistry achieved with basic tools such as hammers and chisels. Indulge in a delicious lunch at a nearby eatery. Later in the day, you will be transported to Aurangabad, where you can spend the remainder of your time at your leisure. Savour a delectable dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the motel.

  • Day-5 Ellora Caves in Aurangabad (evening flight from Aurangabad to Mumbai)

The next day, after a satisfying breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Aurangabad city. Take the opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring Ellora Caves (closed on Tuesdays), a remarkable feat of human engineering that showcases the Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religions through rock-cut structures built between the 5th and 8th centuries A.D. Return to your hotel for a delicious lunch and spend your afternoon indulging in some shopping. In the evening, you will be transported to Aurangabad Airport according to your flight schedule to catch a flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will receive a warm welcome and be escorted to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
