  • Day-1 Arrival in Delhi

    Upon arrival in Delhi, a representative from Golden Triangle Buddhist Tour in India will escort you to your hotel for check-in. Have a delicious dinner and spend the night in Delhi.

  • Day-2 Delhi, then sightseeing of Old Delhi and New Delhi

    Following your morning meal, depart on an extraordinary sightseeing expedition of Delhi, encompassing a variety of historical sites and architectural marvels, such as Qutub Minar: a UNESCO heritage site, as well as the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. During a drive-by visit, you will be escorted to view the India Gate, governmental structures such as the Parliament House in the adjoining region, including the grand Rashtrapati Bhawan, or the President's palace. You will also explore the Red Fort (located in Old Delhi) and the Chandni Chowk market (a paradise for shopping enthusiasts).

  • Day-4 Jaipur, then Fatehpur Sikri Local Sightseeing

    Subsequently, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience) and Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), as well as numerous royal palaces from the Mughal period.   • Day-6 Agra to Sankisa then sightseeing of Buddha Temple

    After completing our Delhi-Agra-Jaipur and buddhist sector trip we will drive to Sankisa (where Buddha returned from heaven after imparting Abhidhamma) after breakfast to explore more such destinations. Register at the hotel.

    After lunch, we'll do local sightseeing in Sankasya. A temple with a Buddha statue is located there. A temple and an excavated Ashokan Elephant Pillar, both of which were erected in honour of Maya Devi, are additional notable features of the area. Before the birth of Lord Buddha, she had an elephant dream. Additionally, there is a Sri Lankan Buddhist Monastery and School. Dinner and a stay for the night in Sankisa.

  • Day-7 Sankisa to Lucknow then to Shravasti

    Make the trip to Shravasti after breakfast. Later have your lunch. You can also spend a half day touring in Lucknow if you'd like. Afterwards, reach Shravasti and stay in the hotel for the night. You wll have some free time in the evening. Have your dinner and stay for the night at the hotel.

  • Day-8 Shravasti to Lumbini

    Explore Saheth Jetvanaram, Maheth, and Angulimal Grottoes after the morning meal. Later on, proceed to Lumbini. Upon arrival, complete the formalities at the hotel and spend the night in Lumbini.

  • Day-9 Lumbini to Kapilvastu

    Following breakfast, proceed towards the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, Kapilvastu. Explore the nearby attractions of Kapilvastu, such as the Lumbini Gardens, Tilaurakot Gallery and  Kapilvastu Palace. Later, return to Lumbini in the evening and spend the night there.

  • Day-10 Lumbini to Birthplace of Lord Buddha to Kushinagar

    On the tenth day of golden triangle buddhist tour after breakfast, we will visit the holy birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, including Buddhist monasteries and nunneries.

    Drive to Kushinagar later. In Kushinagar, have your dinner and spend the night there.

  • Day-11 Kushinagar to Vaishali

    Post breakfast, explore Mahaparinirvana Temple (the sacred site where Lord Buddha breathed for the last time), Rambhar Stupa (the cremation ground of Lord Buddha) and Japan Temple. Afterwards, proceed towards Vaishali.

    Subsequently, pay a visit to the Ashokan Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka at Kolhua. The pillar is crafted from a single, highly polished red sandstone and crowned with a bell-shaped capital. Also, explore Buddha Stupa-I: Abhishek Pushkarni (the coronation tank).

    Finally, explore the Last Sermon site of Buddha in Vaishali and then drive to Rajgir. Complete the day with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in Rajgir.

  • Day-12 Rajgir, then local tour to Nalanda

    Following breakfast, Rajgir, which served as the capital of the Magadha Empire, is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The colossal Vishwashanti Stupa (World Peace Stupa) on Ratnagiri Hill, constructed by Japanese Buddhists, can be reached by a chairlift.

    The stupa is adorned with Buddha statues representing the four stages of his life - Birth, Enlightenment, First Sermon, and Mahaparinirvana (State of Release). Griddhakuta (Vulture's Peak) on Ratnagiri Hill is another location where Buddha preached.

    Subsequently, proceed to Nalanda. The Nalanda University Archaeological Complex, an ancient university spread over 14 hectares, is worth a visit. After exploring the ruins, visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall, a Chinese pagoda constructed by Chinese Buddhists. Later, travel to Bodhgaya. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at a hotel in Bodhgaya.

  • Day-13 Bodhgaya then local tour to Dungeshwari Cave

    Following breakfast, we will set off for a visit to the Temple of Lord Buddha. We will also explore other tourist attractions such as Bodhi Tree and Sujata Village. Later return for lunch.

    Subsequently, we will drive to Gaya, stopping to visit the Dungeshwari Cave Temples, also called the Mahakala Caves, on the way. This is where Lord Buddha spent years of self-discipline before heading to Bodhgaya. We will then return to Bodhgaya, have dinner, and spend the night at a hotel in Bodhgaya.

  • Day-14 Bodhgaya to Varanasi

    Following breakfast, proceed to Varanasi. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and have a delectable lunch.

    As the evening approaches, get ready for an unforgettable experience. You will be escorted to the renowned Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony. Observe the varied cultural practices and religious customs at the Ganga Ghats in Varanasi. Stay in a hotel in Varanasi for the night.

  • Day-15 Varanasi, then Morning Boat ride, then to Sarnath

    In the early morning hours, immerse yourself in the spiritual Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi by departing on a boat ride along the Ganges during sunrise. Take in the different Ghats of Varanasi, each with its unique history and significance. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

    After breakfast, we'll travel on an excursion to Sarnath. This is the location where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at Deer Park (Rishipattana). Other local attractions in Sarnath include the Buddha Temples, Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamekha Stupa, Mulagandh Kuti Vihara, and the Archaeological Museum.

    Take part in the evening ritual ceremony at in Sarnath the Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple.

    Alternatively, return to the hotel in Varanasi for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day-16 Departure from Varanasi
