• Day-1 Arrival in Delhi

  Upon your arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Max Holidays, who will take you to your reserved lodging. You will spend the night here before departing on your exciting adventure the following day and continuing our Land of Buddha tour.

• Day-2 Delhi to Agra to Delhi

  The following daybreak, you will be transported to the train station on an express train to Agra, where you will also be provided with a morning meal. Upon your arrival in Agra, a city that houses one of the world's marvels, the exquisite Taj Mahal, you will be greeted by a representative from Max Holidays at the railway station. They will then drive you to witness this precisely sculpted monument erected to serve as evidence of enduring love that will last for ages. Later, proceed to explore another structure, the magnificent Agra Fort, constructed with red sandstone on the banks of the Yamuna River. Following the tour, return to the train station to travel back to Delhi. Savor a delectable North Indian dish for dinner at a local restaurant. Finally, return to your hotel for a cozy overnight stay.

• Day-3 Delhi to Varanasi by Flight

  On the third day, you will be transported to New Delhi Airport to board your flight to Varanasi, recognized as the spiritual hub of India. Soon we will be exploring the other significant land of lord Buddha. Upon arrival, a representative from Max Holidays will be on hand to assist you and accompany you to your pre-arranged lodging. Following lunch, it's time to begin the journey that brought you here, and the first stop on the trip is Sarnath, a location that played a crucial role in the life of Lord Buddha as it was here that he gave his first sermon on Dhamma. Enjoy the enlightening experience as you explore Dhamekha Stupa, Deer Park, and a Museum (closed on Fridays), leaving you in awe and feeling serene. After your visit, it's time to return to the hotel, and an overnight stay awaits you.

• Day-4 Varanasi to Bodhgaya

  Visiting the sacred city of Varanasi is complete with leaving on an early morning ride on the Ganges.. After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed towards Bodhgaya, which holds significant importance in Gautam Buddha's life, as it was under a Bodhi tree that he achieved enlightenment. Bodhgaya, positioned in Bihar, a different Indian province, is close to Niranjana. At this place, you can explore Mahabodhi Temple, and within the temple premises, you can also witness the authentic Bodhi tree that converted him from Siddhartha to Gautam Buddha, the illuminated one. Stay the night at the reserved lodging in Bodhgaya.

• Day-5 Exploring Bodh Gaya

  Make the most of your entire day in Bodhgaya by immersing yourself in the divine aura of the area. Explore Sujata Village, named after the girl who is believed to have offered Gautam Buddha a sweet dish made from rice and milk, known as kheer, when needed. Experience the tranquility and calmness at the Niranjana River's banks. Before returning to your hotel for the night, tour the numerous temples and monasteries. The hotel will take care of your meal and accommodation.

• Day-6 Bodh Gaya tp Rajgir to Nalanda to Vaishali

  The following day, wake up, enjoy your delectable morning meal at the lodging, and continue with our Land of Buddha tour. Subsequently, you will be taken to Rajgir, a historic metropolis amid the mountains that Gautam Buddha once inhabited. Explore Gridhkutta, which Buddha referred to as the "Pure Land." Recognizing other notable sites, such as Venuvanaram and Bimbisar Prison, is imperative. Following your lunch, you proceed towards Nalanda, where you come across the remains of an old museum and education center, offering further insights into the existence of the illustrious Buddha. You will be transported to Vaishali, a town that had the privilege of being the first to hear Lord Buddha's inaugural discourse. • Day-7 Vaishali to Kushinagar

  Enjoy breakfast the next morning at the hotel before travelling to Vaishali, the location of Lord Buddha's announcement of his Parinirvana. He constructed Ashokan Pillars, leaving an enduring impression of his presence and one of the most significant religions with relevant principles even in present times. Additionally, explore the Relic Stupa. Later, after lunch, you will be taken to Kushinagar, and en route, you halt at Kesariya Stupa. Once you reach Kushinagar, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-arranged hotel. Unwind and relish your dinner while enjoying a comfortable overnight stay at the accommodation.

• Day-8 Kushinagar to Lumbini

  The following day, relish your morning meal at the lodging before heading to Mahaparinirvana Temple, where Lord Buddha achieved nirvana or liberation. Explore the sacred Ramabhar Stupa, where he was cremated. After lunch, you will be taken to the adjacent nation of Nepal, which boasts the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, and we will explore all the pilgrimage sites of Buddhism in Nepal. Before arrival, it is crucial to acquire a dual entry permit for India and a solitary entry permit for Nepal. Upon reaching Lumbini, you will be accompanied to your reserved lodging. Prepare for another significant excursion the following day. In the meantime, in the evening, take a leisurely walk, and return to the hotel for the night.

• Day-9 Lumbini to Sharavasti by Kapilvastu

  After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, it is time to depart on a spiritual journey to the Holy Birth Place of Lord Buddha. This sacred site, the Maya Devi Temple, is a true pilgrimage destination that will leave you feeling elated and connected to the divine. Adorned with a sacred pool and garden, the temple will awaken all your senses. Remember to visit the other international monasteries as well. After lunch, it's time to head towards Sharavasti, a petite town in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. While en route, halt at Kapilvastu, located at the border of Nepal and Uttar Pradesh. Once you reach Sharavasti, you can check in at your pre-reserved lodging and unwind. Enjoy a delectable dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Sharavasti.

• Day-10 Sharavasti to Lucknow

  Following your morning meal at the hotel, complete the check-out process and prepare to explore the Jetvanaram and Angulimal caverns, also referred to as Saheth and Maheth caves. Afterward,  start your journey to the state's capital, Lucknow, which is renowned for its Nawabi customs. Upon arrival, you will be driven to the Railway station to catch the train to Delhi. Supper will be provided on board. Upon reaching Delhi, you will be accompanied to your pre-booked hotel, where you can sleep and relax.

• Day-11 Departure from Delhi

  The following day, savor a leisurely morning meal at your hotel before embarking on a tour of New Delhi, the country's capital city that seamlessly integrates a vibrant history with a bright future. The destination contrasts enduring architectural marvels that represent its cultural and historical legacy and contemporary structures that epitomize progress. You can depart through the most notable landmarks, such as the Presidential Palace, the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, and India Gate. If shopping is not your cup of tea, explore other historic edifices such as Akshardham Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple Qutub Minar, commonly referred to as Birla Temple, that exhibit the contemporary architecture of Delhi. Afterward, you will be transported to the airport to catch your flight, carrying many opulent and indulgent memories of the nation where Buddha disseminated his teachings of harmony and pacifism.
