Destination : Delhi - Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra - Orchha - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi international airport (with group or independently) and you will be transferred to the pre booked hotel for night stay.
Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing tour
In the morning after breakfast take a full day guided sightseeing tour of Old and New delhi. The visits will include some of the finest places in the city such as Laxmi Narayan Temple of Hindus, India Gate, President’s Palace, Raj Ghat (The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi), Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Lotus Temple. Night stay will be in the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi to Jaipur drive
After leisurely breakfast board your bus and drive to Jaipur. On the way stop at a midway restaurant for freshen up or to stretch your legs. On arrival at Jaipur check in to the hotel. Later enjoy half day sightseeing tour of the Pink City visiting City Palace (Museum), Jantar Mantar (Observatory) and Hawa Mahal (The Palace of Winds). In the evening spend time in the crowded markets of Jaipur city and then drive back to your hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur
After breakfast we drive toward the Amber Fort which lies 10 kms out of the city. At Amber Fort you will enjoy ride on an Indian Elephant to ascend the Fort (travelers who are not interested in riding on the elephant may use our Jeep to ascend the fort). After visiting the fort drive back downhill and proceed to Jaigarh fort which displays the largest canon in the world. Afternoon free for your personal schedule and exploring the beauty of Jaipur city. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur to Agra ex Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast we head to Agra, the city of the most beautiful Taj Mahal. On the way to Agra, 30 kms before the city we stop at the forbidden city of Fatehpur Sikri. Later continue drive to Agra where check in formalities will be done at the hotel. Now the time has come to visit the Taj Mahal which is perhaps the most beautiful monument ever built for love, in the history. Also visit Agra Fort if time permits. Leisurely stay will be at your hotel in Agra.
Day 06 : Agra to Khajuraho ex Jhansi (express train journey)
Have early breakfast we will transfer you to Agra railway station from where you start your 3 hours journey at 0800 AM in a comfortable air-conditioned chair car train. Snacks will be served by the onboard staff in the train during your journey. Arrive Jhansi station at around 1110 AM and received by our local representative at the station. Take a short drive to visit Orchha Fort. After visiting the beautiful fort and temple at Orchha continue your drive to Khajuraho (approx time for drive 3 hours). On arrival at Khajuraho check into the hotel and take half day sightseeing to the Eastern Group of temples (erotic temples). In the evening enjoy Light & Sound Show at Khajuraho (Subject to availability during low season time). Night stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 07 : Khajuraho to Varanasi by flight
After breakfast visit the western group of temples and get transferred to the airport to board flight to Varanasi. Airport transfer will be provided at Varanasi by our local staff/representative. Afternoon spend some time relaxing in your hotel before you take a trip to the bank of holy River Ganges. Enjoy watching the grand prayer ceremony on the bank of the river. Drive back to your hotel for night stay.
Day 08 : Varanasi & Sarnath
Today in the morning during sunrise experience a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the early morning activities and prayers along the river. Come back to your hotel for breakfast and then after we will take you for a sightrseeing tour of Varanasi and Sarnath. At Varanasi you will visit some of the very old Hindu Temples and also the very old and very famous Benares Hindu University. The excursion to Sarnath gives you an opportunity to sea the ruins of Buddhist sites.
Night stay will be at the hotel in Varanasi.
Day 09 : Varanasi to Delhi flight
Breakfast at your hotel and later intime take flight back to Delhi (or connect with our tour to Kathmandu, Nepal). Airport transfers in Varanasi and delhi will be arranged by us. Night stay at Delhi hotel.
Day 10 : Departure from Delhi
Intime you will be provided with an escorted transfer to the airport to connect with your flight to next destination.
